Updating to say this continues to be one of my Saint Paul musts. Their vermicelli salads are outstanding! 36 and 39 are family favorites.

One of my favorite Pho restaurants in the twin cities. The beef in my pho is always very tender and delicious. The interior was recently renovated and makes for a great lunch stop for the middle of the work day.

This place is classic. The pho options are stellar, but so are the rice dishes and noodle selection. The owners are wonderful and everyone is attentive. One of my favorites.

Perfect quick lunch spot. I was in between errands and was so happy Pho 79 was on my way. The pho is hot and flavorful and service is friendly and fast. Had a delicious well priced lunch and was out the door in 30 minutes.

This is a wonderful place to get some amazing food. Great chill music and excellent service. The signature pork egg rolls were divine as well as the Pho Hue.

Seemed stand offish and food was bland

Stopped by for a quick dinner before meeting. We ordered the pork egg roll, and it doesn't have any pork, and just noodles. We also ordered the combination fried rice and it had a foul smell. I thought that it was the sauce at first but as I took one bite, the smell didn't sit well, so I spit it out. Me and my wife address it to the owner and she tries to justify that the shrimp was fresh. We had fried rice many times and it didn't smell like that. We also ordered the combination pho and it's okay. Please be careful when ordering food here but this is our first and last.

This place was very peaceful and not super busy inside. I told them about my mild peanut allergy beforehand, and they accommodated accordingly. I wouldn’t recommend this however if you are worried about cross contamination or have a severe allergy (this is the only reason I take off a star). I got the spring rolls and #39. The serving sizes for the noodle bowls were good; I was full afterwards.

Prices were between 10-20 for only entree. Add additional 5-10 for appetizer.
