Always thought the beef patty was homemade until my kid seen the name brand on it. I didn’t mind paying $6.50 per patty. But these are frozen patties imported and paying $6.50 for that was very disappointing. Frozen cost for 8 is $18. So disappointing I would drive 35 minutes just for those patties 😞😕

I love to go to Pimento's in Saturday nights to dance! It's my fav!

Tried this place out. I was slightly disappointed in a few things. The Ox Tail was a little tough, and they don't have any spicy jerk wings, basically just buffalo wings like you can get anywhere. It was also kinda spendy for what I got.

I loved the vibe here, and the workers were very friendly and quick. The rice and peas and plantain tasted great, but the oxtail meat wasn’t very good. Amazing gravy though.

Be VERY careful about ordering online for this business. I work downtown St Paul. I went to their website > selected Locations: St Paul Downtown > selected Take Out > Logged in via Toast app (which is recommended) > Entered order > checked out. The order was sent to the Minneapolis location! You cannot cancel in the App. I called to cancel immediately but no answer. I left a voicemail and they called back and said they'd look into it and get back to me but nothing...I called back several days later and they will not answer and will no longer allow voicemails. That is telling. I was so excited to try their food but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

Going there for lunch is an absolute NIGHTMARE. They only have one person who drags and takes all day, doesn't acknowledge you when you come through the door, and has an attitude when something is said. Common sense would tell management that more than one person should be working especially when lunchtime is the most busiest. You can't order online cause the website defaults to the Minneapolis location, and can't call in because it just rings. I'll be glad when St. Paul gets another Jamaican cuisine place cause Pimento is not it.

This place has a lot of potential, however—— they never have what they claim to have for example- never have oxtails! Also when they finally had them, I was charged 28 bucks for 3 small oxtails! Do not go here for oxtails they are literally giving you bones!

I went here during lunch around 12 pm on a Tuesday and there were only a couple of other customers. If you are dining in, they will come and take your order at your table. I suggest ordering at the register regardless if you eat in or takeaway. The food was good and plentiful, but the service was pretty bad.

The short stubby lady seemed like she didn’t want to be at work that day. The rice and beans were great, everything else was mediocre.

Decided to try for first time, regretted instantly. First off the service was super rude & dismissive to anything I asked/said. Secondly the food isn’t even something I’d feed to my DOG. No flavor & just tastes old & made sloppy. Definitely save your money & go else where. Do better pimento

I’m sorry to have to rate this food this way but the girl at the front gave me curry veggies when i explicitly said curry goat and curry chicken and ended with the curry veggies which taste terrible. I love my veggies but the curry sauce over the veggies is not good. I enjoyed my food at Minneapolis’ location last year. I was really hoping to love this place but I’m displeased with my first visit here.
