I love this spot — bikeable from my house and with a bike-friendly owner. Right off the Green Line. African tea, good cookies and other treats. A favorite for meetings or just hanging out alone.
Yesterday, was the first time I was at this cafe, but it will not be the last. The owners are so nice! I had a lovely chat with the owners and I can't say enough good things about them. They have been in this spot for a couple of years now and they deserve all the support from the community. You can feel good about spending your money here. Please join me in becoming a regular.
Dietary restrictions: The menu had a wide variety and I think most people would fine something that worked for them on the menu. The breakfast sandwich I had was great.
Parking: There was a small lot out front, I think there was more parking elsewhere, but it was not obvious how to get to it.

All I can say is wow! My husband and I stopped in because we were in the area. We had wonderful chat with the owners and learned more about them and the coffee. The coffee is imported from Kenya and it definitely takes the cake for some of the best, if not the best, coffee I've ever had. This is a place we will definitely visit again.

This is a great place to work or chat with a friend. There's something about the atmosphere that's very low key and comfortable. Every table has outlets, plenty of seating (including a different room outside the main area), and their baked goods are really tasty. I've been here a few times now and I don't know how their cheese danish is so good! It's ready to miss from the outside because it's in this giant office complex but if you are looking for a quiet place to hang out, work or chat, with nice coffee and pastries, this is better (and cheaper) than most places I know.

I stopped by on a whim and was so glad I did! The mocha was great, and the Chicken Caesar wrap was honestly the best wrap I’ve ever had. The owners are so lovely, welcoming, and kind. This is great place to catch lunch and study. I’ll definitely be back!

Really good coffee and tea plus the owner is super nice. I really liked his vision for his cafe as a community space, and everything felt very welcoming. Excited to go back!

Happened to drive past and felt like trying out a new place and were so glad we did! The owner was so kind and warm-hearted, wanting to build the community and the drinks were fun and interesting and delicious! We got the iced Nutella latte and the Iced African tea with strawberry cold foam. The tea was like a delicious, unsweetened chai tea. Really enjoyed the drinks and the nice chat!

Great food - they just added a bunch of wing flavors for sure check them out!
Me and my sister were around the area and thought to stop by, and we didn't regret it one bit! The owner was super nice and welcoming. We asked if his meat was halal, and he was super honest, and without getting all offended, he answered us in a mannerly way. The service was great! The atmosphere was very nice and calm. Now off to the food. We bought a grilled chicken sandwich, beef samosa, and an Iced caramel latte. The coffee was amazing, and the coffee flavors just hit so nicely. The sandwich was really good as well, but it was very messy and seemed to be a bit wet from the tomatoes inside, but the chicken was AMAZING. and lastly, the samosa was AMAZING. Very flavorful and spices were perfect! Overall, I recommend this place and would go again ?

Great staff, amazing coffee! I love the family atmosphere here. I got the mocha, it was very good. I’m excited to come back to try out their espresso later!
I love this place. Unassuming from the street, the moment you walk into this place a warm, pleasant vibe just kind of wraps around you like a comfy blanket. Upbeat music, friendly staff, and top-notch espresso. Don't leave without noshing on a sambusa or two. I usually leave with a bag of Rafiki Beans under my arm. So good.
Ian, the owner, is in the mix, authentically friendly, really made me feel at home, and his team follows suit. They say at the cafe "Come for the coffee, leave as a friend," and I found this to definitely be the case. If you've been wondering about stopping in, wonder no more: do it. You'll be glad you did.

Fantastic local coffee shop. Friendly staff happy to answer questions. Had one of the best iced mochas in the Twin Cities, sweet and just enough chocolate. Also had a wonderful Peach Punch (spring special).
