Beautiful on the plate but not that flavorful. The southern chicken was extremely overwhelmed with breading and the oil was rancid. The Mac and cheese was great, my favorite part about the dish, creamy yet distinctly seasoned. I ordered the Chicken plate with coleslaw and biscuits. I could have sworn it came with gravy but I guess not. The biscuit was dry and the coleslaw had a sour taste and yellow color of mustard. Very solid choice for a sports oriented bar. \nI went on a very quiet night. Seems like it may have a good crowd during sporting events. My chicken wings and burger were top notch. The menu selection is basic but my ingredients were tasty.
NEW POST;I wish to add to the original post after the restaurant manager reached out after the review. It was nice to know that this is an establishment that wants to make right and rectify a situation in hopes of making it a positive experience.The service was very friendly and accommodating and worth a stop. My husband and I did very much enjoy some local beers at the bar and because of the time taken by the manager, we would stop back if ever in St. Paul again. Thanks Josh...
