Review for Multigrain bread which I bought at Seward Coop. This is a nice, thick and hearty bread which has a bountiful amount of grains. I didn't look at the price, but it was worth it. I've been enjoying it with an eggs-in-purgatory dish I made this week. I was pleased that the helper at Seward on Franklin handed me the freshest bread in the store. I am not wild about the bag, though. I dropped the loaf on my kitchen floor. So plan on re-wrapping it when you get it home because the bag is porous. When I was walking in from the car, the smell of the bread filled my nose and I was entranced. I am very pleased with this! I wonder if they make a cranberry walnut bread? It would be amazing in this recipe. Hope to visit soon. There's a location down the street on Snelling. Maybe I'll give it a try.
A lovely spot and their bread is delicious. Definitely worth swinging by!
Coffee and ambience was great, service is friendly but the food was not at all appetizing. I ordered breakfast sandwiches and a salad and all had a really strange flavor to it. Baked goods did look lovely - if I go again, I’ll stick with coffee and bakery.
It was beautiful. The food was wonderful. The bread and pastries were so good. The flourless chocolate cookie was perfect.
I love Rose Street. They have great breakfast items and amazing coffee. Plus you can try out your French.
I had the french toast, and it was delicious. However, the pictures featured on google map are a LIE. It wasn't served with all the colorful fruit, just syrup, whipped cream, and butter. Everything here looks and smells wonderful.
This place is delicious! I have had several menu items and I’m never disappointed! The atmosphere is welcoming, beautiful and always clean & tidy! Thanks!!
Upscale bakery and breakfast cafe with delicious and expensive pastries. We purchased the everything croissant and a cinnamon sugar something. Both were quite good, and the coffee was reasonable. The room was bright and spacious, which made it great for hanging out for a while.
Rose Street Cafe is rapidly becoming my new favorite breakfast spot in St. Paul. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the food is excellent. In addition to the brioche French toast, check out their omelet. They also offer a number of can’t-miss pastries.
It is a casual place; you order at a counter and your food is brought to your table. The bread here is delicious. The French toast is made from a thick slice of brioche and it was the best French toast I've ever eaten.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, compliment the delicious food. Cozy atmosphere for a quick breakfast or lunch. Also make sure you get some loaves to go. Will definitely be back..
The food was good, I ordered a sandwich. The menu was kind of small and I might have ordered something I didn't really want so keep that in mind as well. I found the food delicious, but quite expensive. 13$ for a sandwich is just a lot of money. I also ordered an Arnie Palmer which was great and tasted homemade. Maybe a little sour but overall good. I would say the place is really great food and drink, but overall very expensive and I'm not convinced it's entirely worth the cost.
Got the quiche lorraine and it was so good I forgot to take a picture until I was this far into it. We got to go because the tables were full when we ordered but then a table opened up. The French toast was decadent. Great coffee, delicious french inspired breakfasts. Would come again if in the area!
I just visited the new location today and had a great experience. The space is cozy with a few small and large tables for any size party. Service was quick and very friendly - they even came back to the table to offer to add more hot water to my tea! If you like the other location, you'll love this one too!
Amazing food!!! Also very friendly and welcoming! Definitely going back again. The quiche is wonderful and fluffy!! Brings back my childhood!
