My wife’s first meal after birth of our first child was going to be sushi. So she DoorDashed a 24 inch Memory of Derek Boogard and some gyozas. They were nasty. They were flavorless. The texture was so soft and mushy and just plain gross. I know because I ate them while she enjoyed more hospital food because the hospital food is better than Sakura. Would never recommend to anyone.

One of the better sushi places in MN.

Some rarer items available like Uni and Fatty Salmon. Call ahead if you plan on ordering these as they only had one order of Uni left.

The staff is friendly and the service was great. They also have a full bar, so don't be afraid to make requests. I rather enjoyed my Whiskey Sour (with an egg white by request). We will be coming back again and again.

Great sushi! My go to is a shake don which is rice with salmon on top. They have great edamame and gyoza. And my favorite, tempura ice cream.

I had a bowl of miso soup and a chirashi sushi with abundant rich fish slices. The food was good but the location is minimalist.

I had the #9 it was really good but I felt like it was missing something. I saw the owner walking around and cleaning tables and I thought that was really amazing!

Gorgeous location with lots of seating, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I’ve been here a handful of times and try to get something new each time, the Takoyaki is a favorite of mine however and too hard to resist.
