This was a great restaurant for our family. We went to the science museum in the morning and walked to Sakura for lunch. Extremely tasty, my 7yo daughter loved the food, eating her entire box and several pieces of the roll and tempura. Everything was really yummy, light, fresh, expertly made.

I read the reviews and was super excited to try this place. The food was mediocre and the portion size for $18 was absolutely absurd. That was barely a single small chicken thigh. Absolute disappointment. Needless to say I will never be back here again. If You want overpriced mediocre food and terrible portions this is your place.

Pretty good Japanese food, a little pricy. I got the samurai bento set and it was good but I'm not sure it was worth $30.

My close friend growing up's aunt owns this place. I saw it a long time ago then moved downtown and used to go there every week or at least a few times a month. Their service is top notch and they have REAL sushi, it's like being in Japan. Everything is so authentic, not some cheap, rotting, fish. Not some bass sashimi or that bs. They even have Shabu Shabu(Japanese Hot Pot). If you can't make it to Tokyo's fish market come here. You'll be pleased! The sushi is really, really good and you'll be coming back.

I came here because other reviews said they had lots of gluten free options- the menu doesn't describe what does or doesn't have gluten, but the servers knew how to alter the order to make it gluten free, and they brought a bottle of tamari without me having to ask.
The sushi rolls and lavender lemonade were really good.

Would love some more roasted eel right now! That might have been the best sushi roll I've had, and it was simply about the grilled eel for me. Cali roll was simple and fresh and delicious. Good Goyoza. Making me hungry again...would love to go back tomorrow! Would only recommend to update the table surfaces.

We got bento boxes and they were great. Had to wait a long time be seated even though there were only 2 full tables in the whole place, our sodas were very watery with little carbonation and the tables were a tad sticky.
