Excellent Thai food will all your favorites. Great tastes and generous portion sizes. We had Pad Thai, egg rolls (2 large in each order), Spicy Noodles and Masaman Curry with shrimp. All very good. Reasonable beverage pricing as well with attentive, quick service.
Jewel our server was great! Helped with selection information and was knowledgeable about the good. Construction is everywhere in St. Paul and he thanked us for coming. Good place to dive into before a show at the X or Fitzgerald.
Massaman curry had a good enough curry sauce but the beef was fair—beef seemed old or gamey. The pad Thai was better the next day as leftovers with some sesame oil that helped to bring out spices. Clearly they've dialed down their spiciness, which is disappointing. It's not the old Sawatdee.
I hadn't been since covid but we are now back in the office. Trying to support the Downtown St Paul businesses, but food was good, wish I had ordered more heat on the rice. I wasn't a fan of the chicken wings. The service was great, light crowd. The road construction migt be a factor. I hope they stay open, great place.
Great food! Started with the fresh spring rolls which were so delicious and light on a warm summer evening. We had some stir fries and fried rice which were all at a nice heat level and so tasty! Best waiter ever, Jules, worked the whole room seemingly by himself. He was attentive and helpful. We had to make a theater performance so he kept track of us and made sure everything came out timely so that we would make it to our show.
We came off a long Amtrak ride in search of some comfort food. Sawatdee delivered! Big portions, great service, super flavorful food.
Our food was delicious and our server was very attentive. Note that there is construction around the restaurant so ambiance is not great. But definitely visit them and give them the business, food is terrific!
We hadn't been here in a while. Wonderful food and service. Such a treasure in St. Paul.
Busy with only one waiter, but he had some high energy which made up for the timeliness of the service. Food is always fantastic!
First visit. Good meal though the Shrimp and Scallops in Garlic Sauce with steamed vegetables could have had more flavor and seafood. Next time would order with a bit more spice. Catfish in a curry sauce was excellent! The service was outstanding! They were personable, shared opinions/recommendations and made sure we got our meal and were on our way in time to make the theatre!

Thursday night dinner before show at the Xcel. For a Thursday night at 6, we were the only ones there. Food and service was good. Due to traffic to St. Paul, we ended up needing ti change from 5:30 to 6. Was able to order quick, and we had no issues to get to show in time.
Lovely little Thai spot
I ordered the Panang curry for take out and although the flavor is good, they LOADED it with green beans and literally less than half of it was sauce. They should call the dish “Panang Green Beans”. The sauce is the best part! Super bummed and probably will go elsewhere for my curry.

Ordered the isaan set. The papaya salad was good but too sweet even with mild chili's and overload of peanuts which made it taste nutty.. The beef a bit tough and could be marinated to soften it. The sticky rice was good. The service was excellent. Thank you
