Excellent Middle Eastern food like gyros and shawarma. The fries are also delicious, hot and fresh, but watch out: you better be hungry if you order a plate entree plus fries. TONS of food.
Vegetarian options: Awesome falafel

Shawarmain Grill: A Culinary Love Affair
When I walked into Shawarmain Grill, I wasn’t expecting to fall in love. But folks, I met my soulmate… and it’s wrapped in pita.
The shawarma? Oh, it’s not just food—it’s a warm hug in edible form. The meat was tender, seasoned like it had been whispered sweet nothings by a spice rack, and the sauce? It didn’t just complement the shawarma; it serenaded it. Every bite made me question if I’d ever truly eaten before this moment.
And then there were the fries. Golden, crispy, and perfectly salted, they were the Beyoncé to my shawarma’s Jay-Z—a power couple I’ll be rooting for forever.
Honestly, if I had to choose between winning the lottery and eating here again, I’d pick Shawarmain Grill. Because while money can’t buy happiness, it can buy shawarma and fries.
stars. If you’re not eating here, you’re living your life wrong.

Friendly staff, Falafel wrap is toasted, much like a burrito, very good. Desserts are also very good, excellent Flan. Looking forward to exploring the whole menu. Prices are kinda high for the portions. Greek salad tastes great looks great but for 8.95 i will make my own. Burgers are offered here for skeptical palates.

I'm hesitant to try new restaurants around St. Paul for fear of being disappointed, but I read the reviews for Shawarmin Grill and figured I'd take a chance. Suffice to say, Shawarmin did not disappoint. I got a beef shawarma sandwich, fries, drink, and an order of hummus with pita. After bringing it out to the car and giving it a try, my fiancé insisted I go back in and get her the same thing. The sandwich was delicious, the fries were tremendous, and the sauces uplifted the whole meal. The toasted pita that came with our order of hummus was just amazing. The gentleman working the front was very pleasant and took pride in his food when I told him we thought everything was tasty.
We ate in the car (we decided we couldn't wait to get home), but look forward to going back to sit down inside and trying some of their other dishes.
Someone else's review said that this place is a hidden gem, and I couldn't agree more.

Shawarmin is currently the only authentic Mideast restaurant located on Saint Paul's eastside. After moving to the area last year, I was delighted to discover this place. Approximately two weeks ago, I ordered 2 Adana style lamb kebabs online for pickup.
The ordering process was simple & straightforward. The hummus was suburb, the bread was fresh, & the salad was flavorful & crispy. However, the kebabs were less than great. One was overcooked, the other undercooked. I want to point out the spices were on point & the quality of the meat was good.
I do believe they could have done better on the kebabs. Nonetheless, I will return in the near future & will update my review accordingly.
Thank you for your time & consideration.
