Very good modern take on Lao food. I have been to Laos 3 times. Beautiful country with amazing food and very friendly people.
This restaurant has that Lao atmosphere. The place if more of a takeout restaurant so there is limited seating. The food portions are large and very filling. Those OG wings are delicious. The Laab, Lao style and sticky rice is 🔥.

Just take out here but conveniently located immediately next to Wandering Leaf Brewery. Highly recommend ordering food and sliding into the tap line for great beer. We had the Soul Lao smashburger (10/10!! Not a traditional beef burger which made it even better), the happy hour wings and a KFC chicken sandwich ( Korean fried not Kentucky fried!). Everything was exceptional and I cannot wait to come back and check out the garlic noodle and duck fried rice.

Stopped here after landing at the airport - it's only about 8 minutes away. They've been open for 2 years and mostly get takeout orders. We wanted to dine in and they were so excited to practice their plating which was really fun to see (and beautiful - see photos!). The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere for dining in was really quite nice. The pork nam Khao was a tiny bit too salty but tasted great. The fried chicken was excellent especially with the sauces and the sticky rice was delicious. Great meal for coming to or from the airport for sure!!

We had such a wonderful experience at Soul Lao! The food was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. Every dish we tried tasted like it was made with so much care and attention to detail. Our absolute favorite was the Nam Khao—perfectly crispy, fragrant, and packed with layers of deliciousness. It was so well-balanced with crunch, spice, and brightness that we couldn’t stop raving about it.

The naem khao was excellent with plenty of crispy rice, ham and aromatics. The wings were excellent as well- a perfect balance of sweet and salty. Plus the owner is super nice! They definitely care about providing a high quality product and service. Looking forward to coming back!

We’ve eaten here several times and have been delighted by everything we’ve eaten. Especially the pork belly. However, I’ve tried the chicken wings twice now and wouldn’t recommend them. The coating was good, but the meat was dry. That’s because they use really small wings and the meat overcooks while trying to get a crispy crust. If they used jumbo wings instead, these would be juicy and outstanding. That said, I still rate this place 5 stars because everything else is wonderful.
The food is absolutely fantastic, but two thoughts on the service: 1) No cash is inconvenient 2) I ordered take out and wasn't given my drink. I assumed it was in the bag and left in a hurry after a 40 minute wait, the restaurant was closed by the time I got to my hotel and realized the mistake and they don't open until 4 today and I'll already be out of town.
I've worked in a lot of restaurants, so I get how easy that particular mistake is to make. I've done it. Just wanted to add that reminder, but still leaving 5 stars.

Food is phenomenal as well as customer service! My sister ordered us the OG wings, laab seen, crab Rangoon, and mango sticky rice. From the smell to the taste, it was all very comforting and delicious. The atmosphere may be small, but we were able to sit down and enjoy the delicious meal for the night. Definitely going back soon!

Soul Lao is seriously the bomb! Absolutely on-point flavors and so consistent too! The menu changes from time to time, don’t miss out on the roasted duck with garlicky rice! Their mainstays like the crispy rice salad is outstanding!!
