The rice has just the right moisture level. The glazed chicken is braised on wooden skewers so the inside didn't finish faster than the outside the greens are fresh and crisp, also the carrot and papaya thoran paste topping is firm and balanced with savory and tonic flavors that offset the bitters of the leaves.

Food and service is great!

Scrumptious! Reminded me of actual street food in Thailand!

Their crispy pork belly was AH-MAZING! Tender and savory with the obvious crisp to it - very similar to how my mom used to make it. Most places can't seem to get crispy pork belly right but they sure did! I think I need a little more time for the ginger salad dressing to grow on me - so definitely coming back! It was a good amount of food that didn't make me feel overstuffed. I love seeing more people of color owning restaurants in the skyway because the diversity of food is so limited in the St. Paul skyway. The amount of "almost like home" Asian foods available are close to none because many of the Asian restaurants cater to audiences that have not had or do not enjoy close to authentic Asian food. It was clean, simple and fulfilling. Hurrah to Southeast Street Food, Skyway Masala, La Loma, and any other POC restaurant!

Pretty good food. I really enjoyed the rice bowl I got. The food taste authentic and the customer service was excellent. The shop is small. The menus are posted by the windows. There's no seating or tables so plan on ordering to-go. Heavy foot traffic during lunch time.

#Keto friendly options 1st Time here . Available are 2 Two 5ft high tops to perch upon and eat your meal, otherwise functions more like a takeout. No sit-down tables. No restroom as this is a skyway location. Came here today because I'm following a ketogenic way of eating right now. Ordered the Quick Fix crispy pork belly and broccoli salad which I was told was not made with any sugar added. I had my pork belly with spicy mayo on top. The pork skin was actually crispy as expected while the meat itself was not torched so that's a plus in my book! The broccoli salad also included cheddar cubes and prepackaged bacon crumbles and mayo. Kind of a rich lunch but this is the Keto life. Also Keto friendly in case anyone is interested is the Lemon Grass Chicken and Grilled Beef Skewers, minus the teriyaki sauce for both. Here's their menu and a glimpse of their deli-style workspace.

This is my new favorite lunch spot! I had the lemongrass chicken rice bowl and it was fantastic. I also tried my coworkers short rib, and that was delicious, too. Can't wait to go back!

Our company just moved to downtown St Paul and we stumbled upon this little gem for lunch, and it's our new favorite. Between my group of coworkers we ordered a Pork Belly Rice Bowl, a Short Rib Rice Bowl and a couple Lemongrass Chicken Bowls. We all tried bites of each others and not one item disappointed. Everything was so good the worst part about coming back is narrowing it down to only pick one option.

My only regret? That I didn't discover this gem sooner. As it was, I tend to wander the skyways (I don't know the St. Paul skyway very well) and hadn't seen this spot during open business hours. As I passed, another pair of people walking towards me were exchanging opinions - all good! - about the food there. I turned right around, double-checked the info on the Yelp app and marched in... and promptly forgot how to order food. The menu wasn't intimidating. It's just that EVERYTHING sounded like the perfect lunch. My savior at the cash register jumped into action to assist; thank you! He asked what I liked to eat, what were my favorites, and then the winner: How hungry are you? That was a great question, given that the Quick Fix - designed to be a smaller dish - was still more food than I should have had. But, but, but... I couldn't stop eating. I had the braised short ribs and they tasted like someone had spent hours getting the deep flavors into the meat. Maybe they had? I watched my order come together and nearly drooled on myself. Damn, it was great tasting and for $6.25? With a broccoli salad? I ate like royalty! I'm going to have to go back because there are other items waiting for me to discover. Banh mi? Yes, please! Crispy pork belly? Is there another kind? Spring rolls? Oh, I have to have those, too! I'll have to skip breakfast a few times to make all of this happen. I suggest you get yourself in there before I eat up everything!

I started drafting this review as soon as I had a taste. Love at first bite!!! If you have a passion for rich, flavor-packed, tender, blessed by the gods lunch, stop here. It was prepared fresh in front of me by a team of cheery, helpful, and charismatic restaurant staff. The plating is absolutely gorgeous. It's colorful, clever, and generous. Exactly what you want and need in a complete meal. Every component is cooked to perfection. The rice has just the right moisture level. The glazed chicken is braised on wooden skewers so the inside didn't finish faster than the outside (again, fenominal color,) the greens are fresh and crisp, also the carrot and papaya thoran paste topping is firm and balanced with savory and tonic flavors that offset the bitters of the leaves. This is not a place to stand. It's a small space with street bars so prepare to stand or take it to go with no mess. However, you have an astounding view of the city and skyway. Quick, excellent, affordable.

So good. I've had the lemongrass chicken and the red road bbq pork banh mi - both amazing. If you're reading this get out of your office and go find this place!

Walked by this location numerous times, not knowing what I was missing. Now I know what I am missing. New favorite eatery in the St. Paul Skyway. The banh mi is fantastic. Got only 2 bites in and I'm already writing a review. Go see 'em!

Amazing bahn mis, quality as good or better as in Vietnam itself. Red BBQ pork is so craveable and the price is right.
