Station 81 Drink & Eatery

Beyond rude service by the "bartender" in grinch sweater. I was checking out the place so my daughter and I could grab a bite and noticed the hours say it was closing at 4. I asked the "bartender" what time does the restaurant close and she responded with a "what" as if she was annoyed. I immediately was thrown off since I asked politely. Then she had an attitude and told me the place is open until 8 as if I was supposed to know. The sign needs to be updated and staff needs to be educated on how to treat potential customers.

INCREDIBLE Setting (in 1923 Union Depot, architectural marvel), INSANE Happy Hour Specials ($4 wine & beer, $6 Station Burger w/ option to swap in vegan Impossible burger, M-F 3-6 & ALL DAY Sat-Sun), TONS OF FUN (Jazz night every 1st Thursday, Trivia 2nd & 4th Wednesdays, ping pong table, giant chess check out, etc.). BEST bartender and waitress, Yani, is so sweet!

Wasn’t open during the hours it was posted. Looked like a homeless ghost town.

We were waited on right away on a Thursday at noon. I had the white bean burger and sweet potato fries. Those were the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. The bean burger was good too. It was a very quiet time to eat there.

Do not get a wedding or catered event from this establishment. Poor and inept service and management. Angel is the only person who knew how to properly run this dive bar/restaurant and was always the best bartender. Many of her regulars will miss her as she was let go for no reason. She never had any infractions or write up and was the only out going professional person in the unnoticeable poorly run place.

I ordered ahead. Burger fries and wings were perfect. I would like a hotter buffalo sauce option but the wings were cooked perfect. Blue cheese dressing... amazing...Wait-staff was great.

The Station 81 burger is on the Happy Hour menu for $6. We ordered 4 of them. Not bad for a $6 burger but wouldn't want to pay full price. Unfortunately, the Happy Hour burger has the same name as on the menu. Guess which price they charged? Staff said the Happy hour one didn't come with a side and had only 1 patty. Tried to say she'd told us (she didn't), then just said "Have a nice day" and walked away. Be sure you know what you're ordering.
