I recently visited the Subway location at subway on gran and Fairview and was really disappointed with my experience.
First, the service was subpar. The staff seemed disorganized, and I had to wait far too long for my order to be taken, even though there were only a couple of customers ahead of me. When it was my turn, the employee seemed rushed and didn’t listen to my requests carefully, which resulted in my sandwich being made incorrectly.
As for the food, I was unhappy with the quality. The bread was stale and tasted old, and the vegetables were not fresh — some were even limp. I expected better from a restaurant that prides itself on fresh ingredients.
Overall, this visit left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I hope they can improve both their service and food quality in the future.

Ordered almost 20$ footlong barley any meat and the veggies had a weird taste as if they were old smh big disappointment the owner of this store needs a lil help 0/10

I was not planning on doing a review on Subway today but we saw not good stuff. I have worked for a Deli, and was a Customer Service Manager, and did other positions for over 20years at a Cub Foods. So what I saw was a shock. The person with me was shocked also she worked for a Bakery for over 20 years.
First started that really didnt bother us is the front door was locked. The staff told us to walk around the building and go through the back ok. We figured the shoveling was maybe not done due to the building.
We walked in at least they had 1 wet floor sign but no rugs, muddy water piles every where. I was a little worried someone would get hurt.
But this is what shocked us…..
Meat on slicer just sitting their, you can tell its been their for a while (reminder I had worked in a deli with the same slicer) cutting board wasnt clean, meat was stuck all over besides just machine, The vegys and other things stuck on cutting board, counter. A used knife had been sitting on the counter. And more….
Health department would have fined this Subway big time.
A spoon was just sitting their maybe with marinara sauce exposed and looked dried, containers with nothing in them but had sauces on bottom. If you would put that spoon back into the sauce it could have dust, debris of misc on it and you would have put this back in the sauce. This could make others sick..
The vegys looked old, wilty, dried out, spinach was out with dried red sauce on the bottom, the meat didnt look to good.
The breads were in a cart looked like the glass or no covering at all was their to protect the breads from the environment, dust, particles, anything.
I asked for tuna and it looked like I barely got any but all subways are different so ok,
Vegys looked so sad. Sauces in tubes almost or were out.
While one staff was doing our sandwhiches the other staff member was worried a certain person was pulling up to the store. He quickly unlocked the front door and took out a bunch of trash in a cart. That was disturbing. But ok.
Place just was gross. Anyhow I have pictures below.
While downloading the normal stuff about the store on google you will see something that had caught my eye. Never knew about this. You will see subway saying buy 1 get 1 free sub. I know nothing about this. You will also see we paid for the normal price. This does not matter to us. What matters is how bad the store was and if someone gets sick due to this store worrys me.
Let me say I went twice today. The store was extremely clean in the morning and evening. Jacob and Collin, we INCREDIBLE handling all the computer orders I'm assuming for Door Dash as well as handling the line for customers in the store. I went back with my kiddos in the evening, and we all ordered the 3 footlongs for 19.99 (great deal, btw). Collin and Jacob again were just as friendly as earlier in the morning.
I was at Walmart and passed a Subway but chose to drive to this one specifically because the service was PHENOMENAL, and the vibe felt like family.
Thanks, Subway on Grand and Fairview. I'll for sure be back.
Everytime I come here the boys are very tired and confused but it is okay because I love them.

One star food. More stars service. Picked up our online order and they were very busy but they gave excellent customer service. They were apologetic, accommodating, and helpful. The one star is due to their prices being higher than any other locations in the area, coupled with the fact that I have never seen sandwiches with less meat on them. For the price this was so completely unacceptable and I would never waste my money on it again. My chicken salad sandwich was more like a light mayo spread with chicken crumbles….and that’s generous. I basically ordered a $10 veggie sandwich. The Italian sub was just as pathetic and had half the cheese it was supposed to. Take a gander at what is advertised vs what they’re serving up……

The food was as expected. However, I am quite sure that the prices are much higher than other locations in the Twin Cities. I paid nearly 11.00 for a six-inch cold cut club and a small bag of chips - no drink. I inquired twice as to whether the price was correct and was told yes. I then did a google search of subway locations in Chicago - $3.99 for a six=inch cold cut club. Draw your own conclusions. McDonald's is looking better and better.

Arrived at 9:15pm and the open sign was on as well as the doors were unlocked. Everything was put away and she told us that she'd closed the place. She said the new store hours were that they closed at 9pm, but with the open sign on and doors unlocked it gave the impression she'd just closed early.
