My spinach and artichoke panini was perfect. The bread was delicious. I got a salted caramel latte that wasn't overly sweet. My wife had the Cuban latte with Oat milk and that was outstanding! 💯 recommend. Sitting in the beautiful garden was a bonus.

We found this place on a search for a nearby breakfast restaurant. It was with walking distance from our airbnb. The place is an old reused house and is very neat to either eat upstairs or out on the patio. We chose the patio and it was very pleasant.
We order the hashbrown platter, the French toast, we had a coffee and a chai tea. All were excellent choices especially for sharing as we got to try both options and the portions were sufficient for doing so. I will say the french toast was very sweet. It was like having dessert for breakfast. :) If we lived in the area, we'd probably frequent this restaurant.
The staff even bring your food to your table so you don't have to wait before sitting down after ordering at the counter.

I lived in Saint Paul my whole life, heard of this place, maybe had a coffee here many, many moons ago, this place is straight up cool! Great food, great service and on the edge of hippy vibe, in a house converted to a shop, yard full of beautiful plants and flowers to include a productive garden, excellent will return, 💯
What a hidden gem! Swede Hollow Cafe is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and a touch of nature right in the city. The breakfast sandwiches were absolutely amazing — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly grilled. The coffee was rich and smooth, just the right way to start the morning.
I especially loved the outdoor seating area surrounded by greenery — it feels so peaceful, almost like a secret garden. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better.
This place has such a unique charm, and I’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves good food, great coffee, and a warm, inviting atmosphere! 🌿☕🥪
