Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Yes yes yes!!! Best in the Metro hands down. Only wish they were in a little more accessible spot like their previous locations vs nestled in the depths of Edina.

They make the ice cream from scratch, so I'm here for it! Definitely more natural tasting and sweet. They also have vegan options which is nice. I got the brown sugar pecan, would recommend.

Some of the best ice cream in the MSP area and I have been to a lot of ice cream places. Keep doing what you’re doing! Absolutely love the location as well.

Kicking myself for not stopping here earlier! We came for a sweet treat after a birthday dinner, and we both agreed it's some of the best ice cream we've had in the Twin Cities. Things to know: - Almost ALL of their flavors are gluten-free! - A variety of signature staples, revolving flavors, and seasonal flavors - The shop is small, with a few benches and one table for seating - plan to take it out and walk - It's tucked away in a walking-only area of 50th and France - park in the parking ramp and enter near Mr. Paul's We had such a hard time choosing flavors - they were all so creative and sounded delicious! As a gluten-free girly, I was shocked and impressed to see flavors like cookies & cream and brownie offered GF. Prices are pretty typical - and honestly for the quality and flavor, it's worth it. The staff member onsite when we visited was so kind and helpful - she was clearly enthusiastic about the flavors and had tried them so she could give accurate recommendations. We opted for: cayenne caramel brownie almond toffee ganache peanut butter chocolate cookie milk and cookies and loved each one! Can't recommend this spot enough.

Just amazing! OMG! The quality, service is exceptional and the taste...out of this scientific universe! Highly recommended and beware, one "experiment" is going to lead to a second, and third, and...

Some of the best ice cream I think I've ever had. They have a rotating panel of flavors and it's beautiful and clean inside. You can also buy a flight (probably to share) and pints! The price is no joke, but frankly it's worth it and it's inline with other places nearby. Our favorite was the Salted Caramel. I also loved the Spicy Brownie Caramel flavor (I've probably got the name slightly wrong.)

One of my favorite ice cream shops! Love the branding and vibe of this place, and the ice cream is so good and well-made! Totally worth it and a lovely place to bring friends.

We actually go to Sweet Science pretty regularly, as it has become our favorite Ice Cream stop in the Twin Cities. Located in the shopping complex around 50th street and France Avenue in Edina, this place has the best ice cream I've ever tasted!!! I know this is slightly sacrilegious, as I'm from Wisconsin, but the flavors are well thought out and really pop. The first flavor that I ever had was the Apple Cider Crumble and I was hooked. It's seasonal, but since it's fall come check it out! The best part is that almost all the flavors are Gluten Free, which is really awesome since one of my daughter's and I have Celiac's Disease. They list all the flavors in a periodic table format, which is clever and fun, and only a handful of flavors have gluten, nuts, etc., so this place is very friendly for people with food allergies. On this particular trip (with the pictures I posted), we got the Pineapple, Passion Fruit, Mango Sorbet, which had the most fresh and beautifully sharp taste I've ever experienced with Ice Cream. My other daughter (with Celiac's) loves the combination of Berry Crumble on the bottom and Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookie on top, both within their tasty Gluten-Free Waffle Cone. I love the sharpness of Rhubarb, so went with the Rhubarb-Cinnamon-Almond and was NOT disappointed. I was flying solo this trip, so was having some trouble wrangling all the cones and dishes, when one of the workers offered to help me carry the ice cream to my car. While I stubbornly carried on, as ridiculous dads do, they were super sweet to offer. The staff is always super friendly and patient, as one simply has to try the flavors first... :) Another Wisconsin fail that I have is that I don't even really like ice cream that much, but if the fam wants to head to Sweet Science I'm ALL IN!!! If you're in the mood for ice cream and / or need to refresh yourself from some intense Edina shopping, I HIGHLY recommend stopping by Sweet Science!

Best ice cream in the twin cities. Fresh ingredients (when ice cream has stuff in it, it's high quality and fresh!). My partner and I are proudly addicted and come here almost every week for date night.

So fun! We ordered a Flight of 5 flavors. Good value and the ice cream is amazing. Young people working there take pride in their job and are super friendly.

My favorite ice cream place in Minnesota (and I’ve been to MANY). The flavors are so rich but not too “out there” - somehow the crumble in the Berry Crumble stays crisp in the pint, and the flakes of white chocolate in the Key Lime or chocolate in the stracciatela add just the right texture. My favorite of all is the Salted Caramel Swirl. Skip the salted caramel and go right to this one. It’s my go-to hospitality food item to bring to dinners, pot lucks, etc and now I’m known as the go to ice cream girl because it’s such a hit. They also do a 12 days of ice cream in December which features 3 Oz cups of different flavors - a great party tray with friends (orrrrrr to keep for yourself)

Very nice ice cream shop tucked in Nolan Mains at 50th and France. They use fresh and local ingredients all the ice cream is always good. They've got 4-5 flavors that rotate monthly to reflect any holidays or the season. Everyone has always been super friendly and willing to answer questions or give samples. The shop is tiny with only a few seats so plan to sit outside or take it to go. Their waffle cones are made fresh right behind the register and are some of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend trying them out.
