I only bought bbq ducks and pork from here when I lived in MN 12 years ago so I don’t know if it’s still the same owner or not. I liked the duck reasonings and duck sauce. Even though it’s a lot of fat used in the sauce, they used 5 spice (I think). It made the sauce tasted so good with the duck. If I go to MN again, I’ll stop by for the duck. Will see if it’s still the same taste.

Ended up not buying because the woman working there was incredibly rude. The price of the BBQ pork and duck was incredibly expensive. I highly don't recommend going to this place.

Please save your money and time. This place is by far the worst service and food I’ve experienced!!! I spent 30 dollars on one order and there was hair in my food so I had to throw it away. The parking lot is so small and there is no space to park. If you order from this place please make sure that the food is clean before you eat. I do not recommend this place at all unless if you want to waste your money and time!

I normally enjoy ordering food from here. But then i ordered half a roast pig for Christmas and was completely cheated from the best cuts. I asked them to chop up the pig which they did but they did not give me any ribs at all. They kept all the best parts for themselves to sell instead of being honest. While I was waiting for them to chop it all the lady told be to bring out the first tray which was just the head and feet. At this point they were still chopping but I noticed the guy set the ribs aside. I thought maybe he's gonna chop them last. As I took the first tray out they wrapped up the other tray so I couldn't see the meat. When I got home none of the ribs were in my tray. My recommendation is to chop yourselves because they are not honest ppl. Or Order elsewhere.

Hole in wall with awesome roasted meats. Ignore what Google maps tells you about fine in options. This is strictly a take out place.Their roast pork is authentically Chinese with crunchy rind and jiggly fat and also comes with a little plastic cup of sweet chilly sauce and a slightly bigger cup of jus + soy. You provide the rice as they didn't seem to have that option. We ending up eating elsewhere and took the roast pork home.Roast pork was about $17/lb.

I grew up in the city and my mother would buy their roasted pork and roasted duck. I love their roasted pork and will make the drive to get some - I don't eat duck. It can get busy, so luckily I went on a Wednesday at 10am and was the only customer. When it is busy, the back lot parking and the store front fill up quick, especially on the weekend. They only accept cash, there is an ATM available.

Bbq pork was really good! The meat is sitting at room temp so the lady offered to warm it if I was going to eat it right away. She warms it in the microwave in a styrofoam container which is not a good idea at all!

37 dollars for a roasted duck. It was okay for minnesota. Not the best and not the worst. Parking is limited in the back alley..store is small and not too clean. But overall it was good.Parking: Tiny spot in the alley behind store. Maybe 3 cars wide only.

Used to be my favorite, not anymore. Be mindful, the lady owner rounds up the price in cash for her. Ordered 2 pounds, scale didn't make it to 2 pounds. She rounded up the price, tipped herself 5 dollars, no receipt, no paper trail. After I shared my experience to friends, they advised me to stop patronizing Tai Hoa because they don't even box all the meat, they keep some as they box and bag. Go experience it for yourself.

First time truly trying Tai Hoa and it is a good alternative to other roasted meats shops such as House of WuLocated in St. Paul, this Vietnamese establishment serves the traditional roast pork, duck, crispy pork belly and a few other classics. Prices are slightly cheaper to House of Wu and it is opened a little earlier. Ordered:- Roast Duck (3.5/5). Duck is moist and fresh. Not as succulent as others I've had but is tasty regardless. The duck sauce that comes with it is consistent with other places- Roast BBQ Pork (3.5/5). Big thick cuts of meat. Flavor is a little lacking but is perfect with some light soy sauce and fluffy rice - Crispy Pork Belly (3.5/5). Has a nice three-layer texture but the flavor was a bit lacking and fatty. Skin was crispy but didn't give the full crunch and more "forced"Tai Hoa is definitely worth a try and I'm curious to try the other dishes like steamed salt chicken next time!

Location is sketchy AF and only accepts cash. Customer service is zero to none. But overall their roast duck and roast pig is one of the best! ?

My favorite place for crispy pork belly in mn. Five spice with a kick of soy sauce and sweetness in it. If only I live closer, but I still drive 40 mins for it.

Service is really bad here, workers have bad attitude especially towards big orders. I ordered a whole small roast pig and gave them 1 week notice to cancel and they wouldn't give me my cash that I paid in full back, told me that they're keeping my money until I reschedule for a new pig at a different date when I'm ready for it. They take cash only, no credit card.
