This was our first time in here. We wanted to visit be/4 they close it down (closing this summer) and boy are we glad we did. The walleye and fries basket (all 5 of us ordered) was off the chain!!! Tasty and filing we couldn't eat all of it. Only missing a side of coleslaw. The wait staff from kitchen, the waitress everybody was so nice and accommodating. I think it cost $17-20.Will be back b4 closing, loved it!!

First time and unfortunately closing soon. Delicious walleye and interesting menu, but overextended staff were struggling to serve. The rooms are uncomfortably loud.

Had the walleye special dinner blackened , so good. I opted for the clam chowder instead of a potato option. The Caesar salad was outstanding dnd i finished it up with the bread pudding.

The only downside is that they're closing in June! Always delicious food and great service. Will be sad to see them close.Parking: There is a parking lot behind the restaurant access through the alley. Some spots are not available until the hardware store. Next door closes after 6:00 p.m.

The absolutely best Walleye you will ever have. I've been going here for decades.
Tried the fish today, full of crazy amounts of bones. Terrible and my son was frustrated too. At over $30 a plate, u could at least fillet it so it's edible. Don't bother with this place, definitely not the best fish in MN

This is basically my neighborhood bar and it’s nice for that — good beer selection and a friendly, neighborly vibe. The food is just okay, I have had their burgers, fish fry, and several of their specials on different visits and I would say it’s nothing compared to the Nook and other local pub grub, but it’s fine. The beer is a little overpriced but pretty much to be expected on Grand Ave. The service is always good both at tables and at the bar. Great place to hang out.
