Wonderful place! Was recommended from a reddit post about good breakfast places in Minneapolis/St Paul.

Not expensive (paid about $35 for bananas foster french toast, two eggs, a drink, and one of the cinnamon rolls).

The food was INCREDIBLE; the bananas foster french toast comes as a big beautiful pile of sliced baguette style bread that's been frenched and toasted, with grilled banana, candied pecans, and whipped cream on top. The pecans seem to be candied on location, not pre-made, which makes a huge difference. Very good bread choice, and it comes perfectly crisped with some chewy center from the bread structure. Eggs are pretty fresh and you can taste that they are, which is always a plus.

Big portions, so me and my friends are taking home leftovers as well, so it's really like 1 1/2 to 2 meals for the about $25 that I paid for a breakfast entree, drink, and extra side of eggs.

Service was LOVELY, everyone we interacted with was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Contact points were when we ordered at the counter, then when food was brought to us (quickly, too!!), then when they checked in on us and cleared some plates, at which point we also asked for leftover containers.

Am really looking forward to coming back the next time I'm in the area!!!

Excellent food and large portions. I had the Buttered Tin Hash with the salmon, egg, and fried potatoes that tasted great and that I could barely finish. The other meal consisted of pierogi, egg and sausage. The chef cooked the pierogi correctly without over cooking and when paired with the eggs and sausage, made for a memorable meal. Service was excellent too

Very kind and helpful customer service for my first time there. Absolutely delicious cinnamon roll with butter cream frosting! Made from scratch it was so gooey, warm, cinnamon and buttery delicious šŸ˜ melted right in my mouth with every sweet bite! Great mimosas to go with as well with it!! Absolutely 10/10 will be returning sometime. Cheers! šŸ„‚šŸ®

I cannot say enough good about this place. We ordered carry out the first time…prompt, friendly, delicious. Came back the next day and dined in…same responsive service and possibly the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had.

I’m not big on walk up to order places but staff was super friendly and patient. Loved the cherry turnover and I also had two poached eggs with a bitted toasted baguette. Lovely! I came back two times while visiting St Paul.

It’s not a restaurant It’s a self service fast food No idea how it was graded best restaurant in St Paul I have no doubt St Paul got many better restaurants Food was mediocre The place isn’t attractive at all

Unbelievably good breakfast and bakery. I had the hash brown bruschetta which was quite good. Chocolate chip cookies to die for, and I really wish I could have tried the cupcakes and other dishes. No tipping establishment!

My meal of the potato hash with salmon was so greasy it made me sick. The grease
went through the to-go box AND the paper sack! The salmon was way over cooked. Will never go back. Yuk!

20% surcharge just to pay your waitstaff $19 an hour is straight up theft.

Do yourself a favor and get a whole mess of maple fennel sausage patties. SO GOOD.

I didn’t understand why the cashier was also responsible for making drinks. It seemed to slow the line down for ordering.

Food tasted good. The plates were not full for the price paid.
They took our order at the counter and brought the food to the table. The restaurant was VERY cold.
Total for 4 was $94. Only three of us got a drink and one was a decaf- nothing fancy. One plate was 3 pancakes with a few grapes and orange slices along with a small butter and syrup -not enough for three pancakes. Another was a burrito (along with a few sprinkled grapes and an orange slice- nothing spectacular)
You are forced to pay an additional 20% "living wage fee" and under this notice, they let you know this doesnt include tip. (I usually tip 20% but after being forced to give them part of their wage I did not feel 40% total was logical)
If the food, (quantity and quality) and service, (they take your order) and (cold)atmosphere was worth 40%, I may have offered something more, but this was over the top and definitely not worth it. Wont be back.
