I had the pleasure of eating at this establishment for the first time by pure accident with a friend of mine, and let me tell you how impressed I was. First of all the service was next level, my server gave me a brief rundown of the favs on the menu. The selections were awesome, the food was banging, came out hot, tasty and the plate presentation was next level! The ambiance at this cafe is so cool, I love the look, I love the location and I will be back with more friends and family. As a comedian that travels all over the country and eats at all types of restaurants, I really appreciate, good service, good food and a safe space to enjoy it. This place checks all the boxes. I ate my food so fast, I forgot to take a photo ‍ next time.

Food looked amazing. Very "Instagram worthy" Food tastes as good as it looks. Service was quick and super friendly. Waiter came over immediately and checked up on us. Would go here again in a heartbeat. Oh and the coffee is very light but very good. Careful with the blood orange mimosas they are strong :) Ambiance is a very cute subtle French style.

Gluten free options...Vegetarian options: Veg options are great, not clearly marked. Root veg hash is terrific.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread option. Will prepare food seperately.

Came here to celebrate my friend passing her med school exam and the staff went above and beyond in making a special moment for us. What was supposed to be a cute little celebration breakfast turned into a wholesome moment that we will remember for years to come. The food rocks, the staff is amazing and they’ve earned a customer for life. Thank you!!!

The French Hen is another CLASSIC St. Paul staple so when looking for a place to go for breakfast, I knew we had to go here. Upon entering, the staff was so incredibly sweet and the restaurant was so bright, fun-colored and full of life. The one note to be careful of when it comes to service is that for party's of 5 or larger, an automatic 20% gratuity is charged. While there, I ordered the breakfast sandwich, blueberry pancakes and salmon scramble. The scramble was such an amalgamation of flavors that left me confused at first, but then delighted. The salmon paired so well with the eggs and the salad helped freshen everything up. The one note I had was the hash browns were a bit soggy so if you're going to go, I HIGHLY recommend ordering them extra crispy! The breakfast sandwich, albeit, relatively basic, was just as good. However, the star of the show HAD to have been the blueberry pancakes. If you're someone who likes a little sweet and a little savory for your morning, this is the best plate for you. The sweetness and freshness of the blueberry pancakes combines with the saltiness and fatness of the bacon was an absolute match made in heaven!!!

Absolutely love the French onion soup! Beautiful job on the BLT and great service. we also enjoyed the biscuits and gravy and definitely recommend splitting it, as it is very filling and rich! Prices are pretty high in my opinion for a café restaurant. We will be back just for the French onion soup exclamation

We stopped in for a late breakfast while we were in the city. We used to live down the street from this gem of a restaurant. Nice selection and I chose the quiche and a strawberry cider. Wow! It was cooked perfectly- the only difference I would suggest is radish sprouts with more of a kick!?

Food was amazing, however, service was not very good. I had to get up multiple times to find my server to ask for things because we weren’t being checked on or couldn’t make eye contact to get their attention. We had to keep asking for coffee and water refills and were never offered. It’s a good place with great food, but the experience could have been much better.
