I was very glad to eat here at the recommendation of my foodie friend so I knew it would be excellent. The food did not disappoint in any way! Don't miss the bourbon list or the au gratin potatoes. The service left much to be desired as I had a server who was very kind but screwed up my order as well as everyone around me. Definitely eat here when in St. Paul!

We love St. Paul Grill. We eat here every visit to St Paul for the Winter Carnival Puzzle Competitions. Food and service is AMAZING!

We were there during an event so the restaurant was hopping! Because of the event, we had to take an early reservation at 4:30. That worked out fine. Given the early dinner time, I would have appreciated some casual options in the menu. Maybe a burger or sandwich options. Everything was classic dinner options and it was just a bit early. The daily soup was a chicken, corn chowder. It was outstanding! My husband chose a pork chop. It was outstanding! I had walleye and it was quite good. It came with a sauce that I didn't think was going to go with fish. Boy was I wrong, it was delicious! We shared au gratin potatoes that we both enjoyed.

Great food and service. Wild hockey game night so noisy until folks started to leave for game.

St. Paul Bar & Grill was exceptionally noisy when we arrived; it started to calm down a little 1 1/2 hours later. The food was not up to their standards: the calamari was tough, my shrimp were tough, and friend's salad greens were not chilled, and its cheese was tough. My husband's salmon salad was excellent, as was the carrot cake dessert.

We had a delightful evening with incredible food and service. St Paul Grille never disappoints! Pasta of the day was so tasty and the pork chop was so tender with the most amazing cranberry sauce. Swordfish was very meaty and delicious flavors and walleye suberb. Sondra took great care of us! Thank you! Ps. The fresh oysters were excellent with a new twist in sauces, pomegranate was different but wonderful!!

I really do not like cheesecake. We ordered a piece and it was absolutely fabulous. I did not understand the cheesecake could taste like this. The Caesar salad was also excellent and also the Cajun shrimp. This is a fine restaurant, a beautiful location, and a great history of charming service.

Brendan did a great job with service. Walleye Fish and Chips were great. Fun lunch with dear friends. Thank you!

I had made a reservation to have lunch at 11:30am. Unfortunately my friend was unable to join me. So, I had a light lunch by myself: soup of the day and a starter wedge salad, with iced tea. I had an excellent server, and a great window table. I hope to return soon.

Very excellent lunch of shrimp scampi 🍤 and crab cakes. Could not say more how delicious and tasty both items were. Service was excellent, timely and never pushy regarding time we spent at our table.
