First time here, not a St. Paul native but I make a trip out here once a year or so. Atmosphere is awesome there's no sports bar like it with all its decorations and history. Poutine and wings were good. Only thing that was annoying was no drinks menu so it was hard to see what they offered. From what I hear from locals alot of people do like it and I would go again.

Our group ordered three different tap beers and they all tasted terrible. Maybe clean your lines?! Also, the one bartender charged me a dollar more for my drink than the others. I paid cash and have a feeling he was putting the extra dollar in his pocket!

Food is pretty good for a bar. Service is hit or miss. They have drinks bar service or a server, and sometimes drinks on ice for purchase. Lots of TVs, but we asked 7 times to get a particular game on a single TV until they changed it. Atmosphere, bathrooms, and patio are all not bad. Better bars on West Seventh but also worse ones. Good spot to go before or after Wild games

Went here last night for St. Patty’s weekend. I was standing out on the patio with a female friend, and one of the security came up to us trying to take our drinks and make us leave. We were so confused, as we were just minding our own business, and I was just drinking water all night. We said “what?”, the security tried grabbing our drinks again and said “I’m not joking. You need to leave”. then he said “just kidding, this guy told me to do this to you”. some RANDOM guy, we did not know, told the security guard to take our drinks, as some sort of prank? not funny for random men to be grabbing girls drinks and threatening to kick them out. I can’t believe the security agreed to that. EXTREMELY inappropriate and unprofessional of this employee. Made us extremely uncomfortable.

It's a hockey history hall of fame , full of hockey memorabilia. The food, service and prices are all excellent! We even got to meet Tom, great guy with some legendary stories.

Incredible place. Went here before a Wild game. It was packed, but it was so fun to see everyone out in their Wild gear. It took me a bit to find a place to sit, but it was worth it. Great atmosphere and the food was fantastic. I'll definitely go again before I head home.

Emily the server was delightful!! Decided to play some pull tabs after the wild game. Lisa the pull-tab "lady" was EXTREMELY RUDE from the start. Decided to play despite her sincere unwelcomeness. Ended up with some play backs near the end of the night. She said that she would not play them back but would cash them out. 5 minutes later I watched her remove her "CLOSED" sign, play back pull tabs for others. When I walked up to the box while this was happening she said no. Even though she just gave others more pull tabs. Picking and choosing who to serve! Not sure why we were discriminated against? When we asked Lisa about it she had us kicked out. Very disappointed the way our night ended up because of her. As someone in the industry I always give more grace then necessary but this was not right at all. Unfortunately ruined our Tom Reid's experience.

THE premier hockey bar in the Twin Cities. Atmosphere and decor are everything a hockey fan could want. The bar just keeps going, so even though it is packed, there is a place for everyone. The poutine is amazing, and I highly recommend it as a personal entrée. The service is quick and very friendly. Full bar and a good selection of draft beer. To top it all off, we got to meet the man himself. The only reason we left this place is because the lights came on and we had to go home.

A must visit in St Paul if you’re visiting and the best place to go before a hockey game. It’s always really crowded and often difficult to find space to drink. Plan ahead and you won’t be disappointed. We’ve had a few unfriendly server experiences so we stick to the bar now.
