When I tell you the food, the service and the atmosphere is incredible I mean it. This was the best meal I have had out while dining in years. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I had the eggs Benedict with pulled pork I think it’s called Johnnys Eggs (sorry if I’m wrong) but it was heavenly and hands down the best eggs Benedict I have ever had anywhere and I don’t say it lightly. The service was top notch. The staff went above and beyond. One of the owners was even checking on guests while we dined. We will definitely be back very soon.

Tongue in cheek is by far one of my favorite spots in the twin cities. My partner and I come here a few times a month and every experience we have had has been spectacular. Wonderful staff, food and a fun atmosphere and the perfect place for date night. ?

This is our first recommendation anytime someone visits St. Paul. We are so lucky to have such a creative and flavourful restaurant here on the East Side.

This place has such a great vibe. The staff is always top notch and the food consistently, and pleasantly surprises.

I am surprised I haven't reviewed it before! I am absolutely love their steam buns!

Today I finally had brunch here. I had the Heeeere's Johnny Benedict. It was incredible. The friend I went with eats brunch there regularly and gave me a heads up on the avacado puree and spicy tomato jam that accompany it. Soooo good. They really need to sell that tomato jam. Seriously. But really, the pulled pork, pickles, pickled red onions, perfectly runny eggs, and hollandaise worked so well together alomg qith the avacado puree and spicy tomato jam that I can't wait to have it again!

Our waiter was fantastic and just a whole lot of fun. The rest of the staff seemed like they were in great spirits which just makes the whole experience even better.

My pulled cauliflower was good. The server did not know that a wheat sensitivity and gluten allergy are not the same thing, but was attentive and helpful. The Picasso style art with its focus on breasts and fractionated women was not very attractive. My husband noted that even the chicken picture had breasts. I wouldn't have noticed that, but once my husband said it, it was obvious.

Dietary restrictions: The server did not know that a wheat sensitivity is not the same as a gluten sensitivity.

My wife and I had a great experience for our anniversary. We selected the "Date Night Lovin" special and chose a variety of dishes. The Ah Tuna Tostada and Jerk Roasted Cauliflower were our favorites with a great balance of spice and layered flavors. Our waitress was very kind an super helpful with suggestions that made our night more memorable.

An eclectic and eccentric spot, a foodie place of sorts. Great cocktails and incredible cauliflower and egg teasers. Jonathan, our server, was amazing.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I’m SO glad we came here for our anniversary (after experiencing a terrible experience in Mpls at Aster Cafe an hour before where we left after only having an appetizer ).

From the moment we walked in and were immediately greeted with a friendly, welcoming smile, we knew our night out was saved. Literally everyone we encountered was WONDERFUL. Our waitress was top-notch and had great suggestions. Atmosphere is so fun. Food is DELICIOUS and unique without feeling pretentious. TIC unknowingly was able to turn our anniversary celebration into something more special than we expected. Thank you for a lovely evening! Keep up the good work!
We will definitely be back!

Went on a Wednesday evening, it was pretty quiet & dead ish. No need to make reservations for a Wednesday I'd say.

Got the shrimp chorizo Cantonese noodles & it was pretty good! Got a cocktail that was nicely made as well, not overly sweet.

Friend got the steamed pork buns. You get 2 for $15, they're pretty small though just an fyi. Prob more snack size/solo appetizer.

I would come back again though for the entrees.

There's also street parking I believe. Also the restaurant is in kind of a sketchy area so beware.

Food is wonderful. Try the Sargent peppers, crispy chicken ramen or the chicken and waffles. Just go and enjoy the excellent service and full bar.
