Really wanted a good experience because the other reviews seemed promising but I was very disappointed.
The food was beautifully presented but that’s about all I can say that’s positive.
We walked in and were politely greeted by a female host? Server? I’m not sure.
It took awhile before someone came to greet us and take drink orders and I think it’s only because I looked over my shoulder trying to catch someone’s eye. A tall man with a beard came over to take our drink orders and was condescending when I asked for a soda. All they have to drink is alcoholic beverages or water according to him, so I stuck with water.
He came back for our ramen order and was again condescending when I asked for a recommendation and explained what I was looking for. I’m assuming this man was maybe new or filling in as a server because he was just rude and didn’t know the menu. Another man came by, blonde and younger, with a specials menu and I asked to clarify if all they had was alcohol. He informed us that they also have a selection of craft lemonade and mocktails the other gentlemen apparently didn’t mention. The blonde guy was nice enough.
Our ramen came out decently fast and looked beautiful. My husband really liked his duck ramen but I didn’t like the one I ordered. The noodles had great texture but the broth was just not what I was looking for, it was just straight spicy, and the chicken looked and had the texture of those pre cooked chicken chunk portions you can get from the store. No one came to check on us after our food was delivered until it was obvious we were both done and we were asked if we wanted a to go container for my bowl that was probably 90% still full. I said no and the girl removed my bowl but didn’t ask us if we had liked our meal. Is it the customers job to advocate? Yes, sometimes, but with how rude the man earlier had been to me earlier I didn’t think trying to talk to this girl would do anything. We also never saw the rude man who had taken our drink and food orders again.
Along with the poor service and not satisfying food, the restaurant was sweltering and humid. There was an AC on the wall that was set to 75 but it had to have been 80s degrees inside the dining room.
Overall, Tori ramen is just another extremely overhyped hipster joint and I would recommend going somewhere else. My husband liked his ramen and sake but also agreed that the service sucked.

Very cool spot; very vibey interior! Food was only okay in my opinion and prices were a bit more than id normally pay, but I do not regret my visit!

The ramen tastes so good, even the basic popular ones. Can see them handcraft the soup base for a honey feel. If you have the money to spend on this, highly recommend experiencing this once.

The noodle texture was good and the duck meat was great. The reason I am scoring one star is because of the poor service - Our server was very clearly intoxicated; slurring his words, spilling the sake we ordered everywhere because he was trying to pour it as he walked up to our table, and he became very rude and passive aggressive when we asked to send a dish back (Bali ramen - the broth tasted like ranch dressing). Overall the food is definitely not worth dealing with a belligerent emotional manchild drunk. We will not be coming back!

Cool Place. No pork so a little sad. Had the Korean Duck Ramen. High quality noodles and great broth. For almost 30 bucks though it wasn’t 5/5 for me to pay for it again though…

AMAZING ramen worth it for that alone. Service was rough and the host seemed overwhelmed and unable to keep up with reservations and walk-ins. Would absolutely go again

Started with the pickles. Wife had the Fire, I had the Smoke. All excellent. Finished with pistachio cheese cake, which was probably the best cheesecake I've ever had. In house pastry chef, we were told. We'll be back.

I am partially biased towards Tori Ramen, I lived next door to them in 2020 during the height of the lockdown and would get ramen 2-3 days a week there. The head chef and owner were great community members and neighbors to have and really I was so glad to have them during a pretty boring time!
I came back after 5 years and the place is just as great as I remember it... The ramen was delicious, I got the shoyu and it immediately brought me back from a cruddy mood I was having before lunch and it was just overall a great time. Wish I wasn't on the clock as I would've loved to try one of the cocktails but lucky enough there was a peach lemonade they served up and it was so refreshing.
5 star visit.

We just had a birthday party with about 10 people here and the waiter and everyone was so so kind wow! Good food in a timely manner and a big enough space to fit all of us. It's so whimsical too! 5 stars! Also we brought a cake and they gave us the knife and dishes to serve it they were amazing 😍 thanks Tori Ramen!
