Cozy spot for solid pho

This is my go-to spot for warm comfort and nourishment. The pho and soups come in a thousand varieties. Ok, that's a small exaggeration, but it makes the point. The fresh ingredients and layered flavors keep me coming back. I usually do takeout. But the chef recently told me to eat on-site next time -- while the food is piping hot. I think I may do that! It's friendly, unpretentious, reasonably priced goodness.

I went there for their cream cheese wonton as theirs are ones that actually HAVE cream cheese. I really liked their beef lo mein. I love the Vietnamese coffee. Kids like the chow mein. I liked the fact that their wonton soup had veggies in it, although I have had better broth. Their service is . Next time I'll get their Pho:)

I recently visited Trieu Chau in Saint Paul and was thoroughly impressed by their authentic Vietnamese cuisine. If you're a fan of Pho, the Pho dac biet is a must-try - it's rich in flavor and perfectly seasoned. For those who enjoy fresh and tasty dishes, their Bun is exceptional, featuring great meat that enhances the dish. Another standout is the Bun Bo Hue, a spicy and deeply flavored soup that is simply unforgettable. It's important to note that Trieu Chau is all about the food. Don't expect overly welcoming service; this place is for those who prioritize quality eats over formalities. I believe genuine culinary experiences should be judged on the food's merit, not service speed or minor imperfections. It's unfair to downgrade establishments based on personal biases or unrealistic expectations. Trieu Chau stands out for its culinary authenticity, not for its service, and that's what makes it special.

Tri color doesn’t taste the same like it used to. It tasted weird, but I just assumed it was because they added too much syrup so I had them add more coconut. Maybe their coconut brand changed or it went bad cus why did it taste even more sour/expired?? And why did the lady put the tri color on the table with so much attitude??? And they didn’t give us water. The last time I went with my mom, they forgot my sauce for my noodles and when they gave it to me, it was so little that my dish tasted bland.

My partner and I were both excited to try this place after all the great reviews, especially the pho. The taste was average, good but not spectacular, and was surprised with the lack of herbs offered (in particular coriander). Portion-wise, it’s very generous so definitely worth it if you’re hungry. The iced Vietnamese coffee is delicious, just like you get in Vietnam: bold, rich coffee flavor with just the right amount of condensed milk. Service is prompt and efficient. Will definitely be back to try other menu items.

Bún Bò Huế: Very good. I enjoyed the various cuts of beef included in it.Mì Triều Châu: Tastes good! I liked the greens in it.Tri color chè: Good!Thai tea: Not homemade, they just gave me a can and a cup with ice. Still good, just good to know for future reference.Lots and lots more dishes to try in the future here!

IYNYN. This place is baller delicious on every level. They’ve been doing it so well for so long we Saint Paul long time residents likely take it for granted. Yeah there are fancier spots, but we are here for the food and the food is sooooooo good!
