Great music in an old school club.

Iconic live music space with all the bells and whistles to enjoy audible artists performing their craft. Great cocktails are offered with the opportunity to enjoy a basket of onion rings with seasoned sour cream for dipping. The area in front of the stage will accommodate many happy feet for the crowd to enjoy.

Great venue limited parking but all around great place to see live music.

We went for a Sunday evening holiday magic/comedy show. We had a fantastic time. Our waitress Savannah was greatly outnumbered but did an awesome job keeping up. It is a small setting with a long narrow room. The drinks were good, the show was good, the service was great.

The people that work here were all amazing when we were there for a Cameron Whitcomb concert. My husband is in a wheelchair and they made sure we could come and sit inside before they fully opened because it was cold and got us our own table for him to sit at so he wasn’t missing out on the concert. The only reason I gave 4 stars not 5 was because I emailed ahead of time for possible accommodations for my husband like the site says and we were just told to come early which we did but not super helpful but then when we finally came in a sweet employee approached us to help get a table set up and told us to email ahead of time next time we come and I said we did but they just told us to arrive early in the email. You could tell the employee was frustrated by us getting that answer and he was so sweet and ran off to grab us a table and chair right away and made a sign and adjustments. He was so helpful and kind. The other reason I gave a lower review was that the site said there was food served during the concert so we didn’t eat and once we got there we were told they closed the kitchen. Which I understand with how full that concert was but we were starving the entire concert which was a bummer. We don’t drink so we had to fill up on pop. Would have been nice to have that warning way ahead of time so we didn’t come starving and uncomfortable. Other than that everything was a blast and the concert was amazing!! All of the employees treated us so kindly. I would come again but maybe with food in my stomach lol

Because I'm a braindead no-car manlet, my (heavily) pregnant wife and I daisychained buses to St Paul for a rock show in the dead of winter. As decreed by God and/or the universe, bus travel always results in a painfully early or painfully late arrival—in this case, we had the former.

The staff waved us in from the cold, checked our tickets and sent us downstairs to warm up before the show started. They were so nice! One of the folks at the door was wearing the same jacket as me, and seemed to enjoy this coincidence. He had very kind eyes (this detail is important but doesn't come up later).

Now in the subfloor, my wife and I ate fantastic burgers and urinated in fantastic bathrooms. The vibe is very nice here—a teeny pinch goth adjacent for avant garde-ish musical folks, and welcoming in that way strangely specific to the Midwest (where everything feels toasty, rustic, sincere, and maybe like it will make fun of you at any second). The bartenders were lovely. We really ordered so much food. I've never gorged myself so severely at a concert.

The show itself was also fantastic. Great whopping sound that slapped the cold off my rosy little ears. Headliner was Greet Death, hilarious and tragic and brimming with energy—truly a sonic enema (fitting after all those burgers and curds). My wife said our unborn child was doing nonstop somersaults, especially once the percussion kicked in (thank you to stellar opener Prize Horse). The image of a freaky semi-transparent alien doing pirouettes inside my wife's belly is an entertaining image to me. This was his first live show, not counting the band that played between acts when we performed puppet theater in November. Life is bizarre.

Including an image of a Uni Boys sticker on the wall by the bar downstairs. Not sure they've ever played in Minnesota, so it was crazy seeing it there. I got to know them a bit when I lived briefly in Los Angeles, and they're all sweethearts. Their drummer Artie is a fantastic man, love him to bits.

I’m so bummed about my experience here today. It was my very first time here and was man handled by the bouncer and treated so aggressively. I showed my ID but didn’t realize there was a second checkpoint and the bouncer followed me, grabbed my elbow and began yelling at me. My friend and I were going to see a friend perform, we were the only Black people there and it was hard to not have that aggression feel racially motivated. I’ve never been treated like that at any venue before and I’m so disappointed. When I brought my concerns to a manager she said that because this business is in Midway, they have so many kinds of people coming in and out. I don’t feel like this is a safe space for me or Black people in general, at least on this night and I absolutely will not be back. The one star is for my friend’s band’s performance which was phenomenal.

Tonight was my first time here, to see Mondo Cosmo play and I enjoyed it. It sounds really good in here, the staff are friendly and it's clean.

Very cool spot! The sound was great and the split made it seem roomier. Downstairs was super fun!

Love this little eclectic gem. Only thing, drinks were exorbitant in price, I felt like I got a gut punch when I got my receipt (Nearly $17 EACH for a high noon).
