I have been craving some egusi soup and didn't to travel to Brooklyn Center. I came on Yelp and to my surprise saw this was located in St. Paul. I decided to give it try but was nervous because there was only 1 review. Anyway I gave them a try and the egusi was EVERYTHING. No need for me to travel to Brooklyn Center when WaZoBia is my neck of the woods and food taste so much better than any other restaurant in MN.
The food is served fresh and the owner is really nice. I haven't tried the pasties yet, mainly because whenever I order I have one thing on my mind - stew. It's truly authentic Nigerian food served at its best! Try the vegetable stew with or without egusi..it's really good with pounded yam..
This the best African fusion I've had outside of Africa. I highly commend visiting! I went with three friends and we all had different entrées and three were good! The lamb was my favorite but based on the others I'm not sure you can go wrong with your order! Go! You won't be disappointed.
