there must be a lot of trouble at university and lexington in st paul. a black eye for st. paul. avoid the area at all costs. i went into a white castle for the first time this century. i wanted to enter the bathroom to use the toilet and wash my hands before ordering and getting my 'food'. there was a code required to get into the bathroom. i asked for the code and was told i had to order first. i am a respectable looking older gentleman that wanted some courtesy. i did not get it at white castle. i left without ordering. i would suggest that everyone simply avoid the place all together.Kid-friendliness: none . . . they treat everyone badly like akid.

Took 10 minutes for me to order 2 sliders and 1 drink and waited 25 minutes in the drive thru. Everyone was touching the money and floor with their plastic gloves on and didn't switch out gloves after touching floor and coins in drawer. I ended up just leaving after waiting 25 minutes and saw them touch the dirty surfaces didn't feel it was money worth spending which is why I didn't rate the food because I never tried it. Staff was friendly though!

It is so unsanitary to prepare customers food with gloves on and you're on your phone scrolling looking at the latest hot topics or texting! Drive thru was busy & the young lady with the dyed red pony on top of her head was complaining about how are people still coming in the store because she locked the door. Well another employee directed another customer to let me in. I ordered the #3 the 1920s Burger meal. I was very excited to try because I've never seen a White Castle burger come with lettuce and tomatoes or caramelized onions... my sandwiches did not have the caramelized onions. I also ordered two sides fish nibblers and chicken rings and by the time I got my food 10 almost 15 minutes later and I was the only customer in the store not sure why it took so long, they still forgot my fries that came with the meal. By the time I realized this I was already on the train headed to Minneapolis so I called the store to let them know they had forgot my fries and what could be done about it and they told me really nothing! That they usually don't take names because the next shift is not going to remember who the person is blah blah blah. I really wanted those fries with my meal!
We didn’t receive two items in our order..the cheesecake on a stick and the hash browns. RIP. And they forgot to put tomato (that we technically paid a little extra for) on all five of our crispy chicken sliders..but the food we did receive tasted good. i really liked the onion crisps and ability to use jalapeno cheese for some spice (highly recommend).
