I ordered a custom cake online a week ahead of time. When I went to pick up the cake, it wasn’t completed and it wouldn’t be able to be completed in time. Not much interest in the staff to help solve the issue. I ended up buying an off the shelf cake instead.

Wasn’t the first and surely won’t be the last. Customized birthday cake was totally delicious and oh so pretty.

She was unnecessarily mean and we had to do the writing on the cake ourselves because she “ couldn’t “. I don’t recommend

Completely forgot one cake on a two cake order for graduation. The woman (I presume to be the owner) was very rude and kept saying mistakes happen. While I completely understand that mistakes happen, she didn’t comp or discount the premade cake she offered up instead. On top of that, she wouldn’t write on the premade cake what we had ordered on the original cake. She told me that I had to go to a different store, get the supplies and do the writing on the cake myself. The whole time I was trying to figure this cake issue she was snippy and rude. After this whole encounter I was very frustrated of the lack of good customer service, I work in customer service, I pushed for a discount on the cake. She continued to be rude but reluctantly gave me 10 dollars off a 125 dollar order. Will not be going back, super unprofessional and unwilling to own up to their mistakes and fix them.

Extremely rude and unprofessional. My family ordered two cakes for a joint graduation-birthday celebration. Unfortunately, Woullet made a mistake and only produced one cake for the order. When my little cousin asked if a replacement could be provided, the surly baker plunked a swamp green cake on the counter without inquiring about flavor preference, allergy restrictions, etc and also refused to write a simple “Happy Birthday” message. She then gave a hollow lecture about how my cousin was not appropriately respectful, despite the fact that it was Wuollet which had omitted the controversial cake from the order. I advise to avoid

I ordered 2 cakes for my 2 son’s graduation weekend with plenty of notice. When I came to pick them up, they had forgotten one of the cakes and when I asked if they could compensate somehow, the cashier was extremely rude and told me “tough luck.” Warning: order your cakes elsewhere!

Ordered 2 cakes but they only had 1 when we went to pick up our order. They were incredibly rude, unapologetic, and did not offer to refund our cake. They instead gave us a pre-made cake, and refused to personalize the cake with a happy birthday message for us. They told us to go to target and buy icing ourselves. All they offered was $10 off. What kind of bakery won’t personalize a cake for you? Terrible experience. Will not be returning, and we recommend you take your business elsewhere.

Just found out that they do not make their famous Strawberry Soufflé cake. I just ordered it 3/2023 for my husband repass. My family and I have been ordering this cake for 15 years or more. My family out of state request this cake when in town. So saddened about this.

I walked in and no one greeted me and it was dark and silent. I went over to the self serve single slice cake area and grabbed a slice. A lady comes out of the back and screams at me " WHAT ARE YOU DOING, DON'T TOUCH THOSE" and it really shocked me and made me feel bad. She saw I was just grabbing the cake slices and apologized as she thought I was grabbing someone's cupcake orders which were in open containers with no lids or covers. I got two slices and a danish and went to check out. She couldn't figure out how to use my gift card (which I got as compensation from a previously botched cake order) so I paid with my card instead, whatever. Just started eating my danish about 30 minutes after I bought it and it tastes frozen or par-baked. It's not fluffy and flakey like they used to be. It also looks smaller than before? Honestly the more I look at it, it looks like a gas station bakery item. I really want to support them, but I felt really shaken up after the lady screamed at me and then the danish was a disappointment.

I do not know why people who work on these shops think it's okay to not wear a glove or use some tongs to grab your donuts. I bought a big donut and it was handled without gloves.I did not say anything to not create a hostile experience, but I think they saw my facial reaction and put gloves on for the next donut grab.Yoyo donuts uses metal tongs to grab donuts. This place should too. The big donut I got for my daughter I am not going to give it to her.I hate to say it, but I grew up in a small town where people got treated differently, the locally bakery would just grab donuts like this and this was a huge reminder of that experience. No matter how great of a reputation I will not be back.

I ordered a custom cake and when I got there the name was spelled wrong and when I told them that the only response is we don’t do the cakes with no accountability and pretty much messed up my daughters 18th

This place is not the place we grew up with in Saint Paul. New owners = bad food and bad service. Bummer this place used to be the best.

The raised donut was heavy, very dense and rather stale. This was a pity donut I bought after I walked in to see that things have gone way, way downhill here and I didn't want to just turn and walk out--but I should have. I took two bites of the donut and couldn't force myself to take a third bite. The shop was dirty, dark and dinghy, not inspiring any kind of confidence. It was a sad shell of its former self.

Found out they are new owners and apparently did not get the original Lady Baltimore cake recipe or the famous Buttercream Frosting recipe. The last cake we had was absolutely disgusting. Was brought back for a refund. Literally tasted like FLOUR. Its a shame that this will not be my entire family's number one bakery any longer.
