I was very disappointed last night. We went to celebrate 2 birthdays. The food was meh. The italian sausage was cold in the 2 orders we had. I thought the sauce had a icky taste to it. We brought a friend who had never been there and it certainly was not anything to brag about. Won't have to go back again.
Classic Italian fan fair. My wife absolutely loved the option of half and half (half spaghetti half fettuccine) and I wonder why more places don't do that! The place has a cozy Italian feel, and you can tell a lot of family history has happened here. Overall worth a visit if you're in the area!
We took a spontaneous trip to see what the hype is about, as I try to support small, local businesses as much as possible. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to the hype. Everything on the menu sounded amazing, so I ordered the half-and-half mostaccioli and the famous spaghetti and meatball. When my plate arrived, it was penne pasta, spaghetti noodles, a very watered-down red sauce, and a single large meatball, and everything was unfortunately under-seasoned. Not even a hefty amount of Parmesan cheese could fix. The chicken parmesan was also a miss — it tasted like a pre-breaded frozen chicken breast, and the bread served with our meal was stale.
That said, I want to end on a positive note. The ladies were friendly, and the tiramisu was genuinely the highlight of our stop. I appreciate the hospitality, but overall, it wasn’t quite what I’d hoped for.
It's not a place decent enough to give it another try.
Wonderful little Italian spot with authentic tasting food! The lasagna is incredible!
Not like it was before covid
This is so good! Everybody is so friendly! I grew up coming here with my parents all the time 100% Reccomend!!!! They haven’t had that much buisness so personally im suprised people dont come here as often THE SPUMONI IS SO GOOD ? THE MEATBALLS ARE MAGICAL ? This place is great! I plan to keep coming here! We came near closing time and they still let us stay, very kind people! Trully deserve a raise! And good tips, since its my birthday it 101% birthday girl approved

My first time in and as much as I hate to do this it's my last time as well. First my 2 Cokes I ordered were bad/flat no syrup and at the crazy price for pop now that should never happen. Service was abysmal and pretty much a grueling miserable experiance, no excuse there and it was a seemingly slow evening. Dirty tables everywhere. The red pasta sauce tasted like tomato sauce,,,, that's it. The meatballs were decent that's why I'm giving the 2 stars. I wish you folks well it looks like you have been around a while I'd hate to see another place go out. A sad excuse for over a $100 meal, truly.

Yarussos has been a family favorite sine age 12, I am now 58. Unfortunately my visit on Friday night was my last. The best part was always the outgoing and friendly wait staff. Now, no table service, no friendly hello as you enter the bar area, just a sign hanging overhead that reads "Order Here." Like so many other fast food businesses, customers now order in a line, a person drops water, utensils and bread at the table without a word, followed by a pasta drop off. Prices have gone up and customer service has gone WAY DOWN and that's unfortunate. Yarussos was always a diamond in the rough on the East side. Sad to see that go!

In this day and age of inflation, we're all looking for good food at a good price. Well, that's what Yarruso Bros specializes in. For 13.99 I get a hearty portion of spaghetti and Alfredo which a meatball the size of a child's fist. Hard to beat that.
