A marvelous place that mixes living room ambiance with local bar service and European beer and wine —and Mead—lists. Go when you have time to read the thick book-like menu and enjoy the German sausages from Milwaukee. And take time to explore the historic photos and memories of a very old German brewery.

I didn't have any food, but I enjoyed the vibe and the drinks. It's also pretty close to where I live.

Been here a million times. The beer list is in a league of its own. No one else even comes close to what they have. The owner (Tom??) will talk your ear off about his trips to small towns in Central Europe to find amazing beer that he can import.

Incredible place. So thoroughly unique and well curated. A absolute must for visitors and locals. A St. Paul treasure.
I love this place, it is unique and fun!! Finally I found food and cider can bring me back to my little Colonia Tovar in Venezuela, a small german town I used to visit with my family. Thanks 🧡

If you support law enforcement don’t go here!
I have enjoyed this place in the past. My wife has never been here. We drove from Prescott, WI to have a dinner and drinks. When we got to the front door we realize we were not welcome. They had a large sign saying NO I.C.E. I’m not ICE but I support law enforcement.
They don’t want my money, I’ll go elsewhere.
We went to another brewpub and had a wonderful dining experience.

Quiet little place with a bigger selection than you would ever guess. Trout pate was lovely.

We love the atmosphere. Beer is excellent. The food not so much. But we all had a great time.

The beers are always top notch, I had a Belgian beer and my husband had a winter ale, both were fantastic. We got a currywurst and for the price it wasn't much food. My husband thought it was very tasty though.
