I grew up in Bloomington, and my parents would order take out from Fong's all the time. I was so happy when David Jr. opened a restaurant close to my home in Savage. Ever since they opened 20 yrs ago, I've ordered take out at least once a week. I think they know me by know ? The food is so much better than any other Chinese restaurant around. Everyone is always friendly, with great service too!
Kung bo chicken (cashews not peanuts) very tasty. Just right spice for me with mild choice. Take out chicken wings loved by spouse but sent too much sauce home. Could have used some rice for leftover chicken dinner. Overall good but not great.
Parking: Limited handicap, uneven grade so can be harder for walker-assisted. Owners always there to open doors, help with seating and very friendly.

Looking at some of the other reviews, I agree, watch out for the hot mustard. A very little goes a looong ways! The servers are always careful to caution everybody.
David Fong, suggestions:
(1) Provide LOW sodium soy sauce for patrons who request it
(2) Add lunch option "#11 The Monthly Special".
(3) Offer Egg Roll or...
