I ordered the Gouda Mac and cheese it was awful. Ordered a slice of cheese cake and got a very small piece at almost $10.00..the shrimp and grits were pretty good though.
The food is delicious but overpriced. They serve oysters but had to turn the first order away because they were not cleaned well. They did make it right, and I was satisfied. The whisky though, oh yeah! If you thought you like whisky, you may not know until you browse a few flights of their VAST verity and get taken around the world. Please, you will want to plan a driver or Lyft/Uber as the whisky experience was amazing! Atmosphere is 4 stars because of strange music, not what you would be expecting from a "Whisky Bar."

Great spot. Brisket is excellent, Mac and cheese sauce was a touch grainy but I wouldn't let that stop you. Their whiskey lists are fantastic and well priced. Brussel sprouts and cheese curd apps were great.

Picked this place off of others reviews. You all did not let me down! The food was reasonably priced and just damn good! Came here before a ladies night at the casino and I'm glad we opted to go off property. Our server was awesome as well as our entire experience. One of the ladies in our party is a whisky girly and she loved their selection and the presentation. The onion rings were a huge hit and the combo plates were enough for 2 of us and had left overs. I will be back if I'm in the area.

Late-night Sunday visit. The brisket was unfortunately dry, as expected near closing. However, the wonton appetizer was a definite highlight. The 'pretty in pink' cocktail was well-made, perfectly balanced – fruity without being overly sweet, and the bartender was excellent! If you go late, stick to the appetizers and drinks.

We went for late night happy hour 1/2 off all whiskey pours. Friendly bartender and a great selection of scotch and bourbon.

The menu offers a solid selection of meats and classic steakhouse fare, but the execution was a bit inconsistent. While the cuts were well-seasoned and cooked to the requested temperature, some dishes lacked the wow factor expected at this price point. The sides were decent but not particularly memorable. A few items felt slightly over-salted, and some lacked depth of flavor. It wasn’t bad by any means, but for a place that specializes in meat, I expected a bit more refinement.
Service: 10/10
The service, on the other hand, was absolutely top-tier. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. Our server went above and beyond to ensure a great experience, offering thoughtful recommendations and checking in at just the right moments without being intrusive. Drinks were refilled promptly, and there was a real effort to make us feel welcomed and valued.
Atmosphere & Overall Experience:
The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a lively yet relaxed vibe. It’s a great spot for a casual night out or a special occasion, though I do wish the food lived up to the high standard set by the service.
Final Verdict:
While the food was good but not outstanding, the impeccable service made the visit worthwhile. If they can refine the execution of their dishes, this place could be a true standout. Would I return? Maybe, but mostly for the service and atmosphere rather than the food itself.

Restaurantji Recommends
Our favorite restaurant outside of our community, but in the Twin Cities! Thanks to High Mark Construction, we are now hooked!
UPDATE: We've been back several times now and really enjoy the hospitality and especially the staff. They work very hard on and off peak rush hour. We sat in the big booth just inside the bar are by the owner/manager and felt like the mafia - LOL. It was way cool watching folks come and go. The bar rail was full, so the regulars bellying up to the bar have their names carved in their seat. (JK) We look forward to our next visit from the other side of town when we are in the area - as the platters are the best way to get your fix! Not just one, but at least two!
