Valley fair is a great place to spend your hot summer days. They have a nice selection of food, drinks, rides and waterslides to choose from. Security is quick and understanding. My party was being harassed by this group of teenage boys. I didn't even report them to security or an employee but when I got off the ride security was there and asked me questions about them. Some of the employees are really observant and understanding. I never caught his name but this past summer there was a black male who had to be 17-25. He was super hype and fun. He got everyone on the rollercoaster cheering and chanting and had so much energy! Everytime I saw him he was working at the renegade. I loved him so much he deserves a raise for his hard work!On the other hand some of the employees aren't. My friends and I left to eat our late lunch/dinner in my car and we went back in after. There is a new age policy that I like to keep the pre-teens out without parent supervision after a certain point. But because my friends and look young and we forgot about this rule we got asked for our ID. But this man was extremely rude. Raising his voice at us and when one of my friends didn't have his ID on him he got very aggressive with us. I understand the need for our ID but the aggressive nature of this employee was absolutely unnecessary. There are some other employees that have gotten passive aggressive comments and eye rolls.

Super fun, thrilling and exciting! Great place to spend time with friends or family. I have been to many theme parks and Valleyfair is one of my favourite parks!

We love Valleyfair! Season passes are a must - it pays itself off in less than two visits! Free parking (normally $25) for pass holders and a ton of discounts offered all season long on merch and food/drinks. We purchased the season long refillable drink cup and were hydrated all day at the parks with free refills every 15 minutes. The water park is so refreshing on those hot summer days, plenty of seating can be found throughout the water park as well as a ton of food and drink options (including adult beverages!) many days were spent this summer enjoying live music and cooling off on the wave pool. I cannot say enough good things about the park, new security measures and curfew/chaperone policies were put into place this year and our family felt safe and had a great time all summer long. We also went to their Halloween tricks and treats event with the passes, highly recommend that if you have little ones. Trick or treat trail, crafting stations, live shows, and a costume contest- It was a great time!

Week days are the best to go to avoid lines and parking delays. However, my son and I bought the refillable cups and could not use them at any restaurant because of all the bees inside and out of every drinking fountain or buisness we went to. We are very allergic and they are everywhere. So we only got about five rides in and had to leave because of having nothing to drink. I saw plenty of people brave the bees to get their soda or water, but it can not be sanitary to have them flying in and out of the soda lines.

I love ValleyFair. My kids always have a great time. They have all the attractions and the water park. 2x1. I went for the corn fest last weekend and they have delicious food. Me encanta Valleyfair. Mis hijos siempre la pasan bien y tienen un parque de diversiones y parque de agua. Yo fui al festival del maíz y la comida es deliciosa.

Took the family to Valleyfair today. For a family of 5 it's not an inexpensive day. The weather was rainy earlier in the day so we waited a little longer knowing the forecast was showing things would clear up. Sure enough as expected the sun came out and the temps increased. To our surprise Valleyfair announced they would be closing for inclement weather. They close early when the weather was just getting nice. So disappointing to venture here and spend the money we did for Valleyfair to decide their profitability that day was more important than paying guests. At least cut the prices & $25 parking in half for guests in situations like this.

I always coming to Valleyfair every summer! I am a rollercoaster fanatic. I recommend buying your tickets ahead of time since it is cheaper online and recommend buying the parking pass online too. I recommend carpooling if possible too. There's plenty of parking and you honestly don't need the preferred parking. As far as rides here is what I recommend to go to right away:1. Wild Thing 2. Renegade - this is very fast and loud so do not recommend for little kids.3. Steelvenom4. CorkscrewRides that can visited throughout the day1. Excalibur - its in the back of the park so it does get miss2. High roller - line is always long but it's not worth the wait if the line is very long but it is family friendly. 3. Xtreme swingWhen it comes to the waterpark, there are lockers there if you want a place to secure your wallet, phones, keys, etc. The locker room is spacious but not the cleanest so recommend wearing your swimsuit before you get there. 1. For rides at the waterpark I highly recommend hurricane falls and it can fit up to 4 people so great for groups. It's really fun but can only have one group go at a time so the line moves slow!Otherwise there's a variety of waterslides, the wave pool, raging rapids. For food there's a variety of foods, there's more variety at the front by the entrance! It's very fun and love visiting every time!

What an amazing bakery! As soon as you walk in you are greeted with all the amazing aromas of fresh baked goods. Lots of delicious options and a fantastic, friendly staff. The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming. So happy to have a local bakery so close to home. Excited to try all the goods!

I have 3 kids under 6, so we mostly stick to the toddler / small kids area and the wave pool. We have season passes. I've always been super impressed with everything. The halloween special was very nice ... amazing how many decorations went into it. A couple months ago, they had a monster truck event, which was super cool as well. I'm pretty shocked at the low rating Yelp has for Valley Fair, but think it's due to a couple things that don't impact us: 1.) must be long lines outside of the little kid area (little kid areas does not have long lines). 2.) expensive if you're not a season ticket holder and just wNt to go for 1 day. The bad: the food is horrible and stupidly overpriced.

I loved Valleyfair as a kid. I still remember being ~7 years old, and talking with my dad about the Corkscrew before my first ride in an upside-down rollercoaster. "Are you sure we won't fall out?". However, by the time I finished high school in the late 90's Valleyfair was feeling a bit run down. It had been over 20 years since I'd been to Valleyfair, but I just visited with the kids (7 & 10), and my cautious optimism/nostalgia seeking was very well rewarded. The park was super clean, the staff was friendly and engaging with the kids, and there were tons of family friendly rides. Our kids had an absolute blast. We also saw (but didn't experience), that the water park is huge now, and there are a couple of newer thrill rides for older park goers/thrill seekers. Looking forward to those when the kiddos get a bit older! Certainly the icing on the cake during the trip: I stood outside the Corkscrew with my 7 year old, talking about his fear of an upside-down coaster. "Are you sure we won't fall out?". I told him about talking to "Papa" about that same coaster when I was a kid, and he plucked up his courage and climbed aboard for is first ride in an upside-down rollercoaster. Honestly, how do you beat that!

It's really nice to have time away with the family. Valleyfair is the cornerstone in minnesota since 76. Bringing joy and fun to all families that want a good thrill. And if you are not up to the challenge of a good thrill then spend your time on the lazy river like I do at their wonderful Waterpark. Or go on their adventurous water slides, or even their wave pool. Me personally, enjoy having a nice cold $14 beer on a hot day. Will I come back....of course I will.
