We have had nothing but great food and service in all our visits to Lobos. The ambiance of this restaurant is perfect for the area! We have our cabin nearby so this is always a great choice when we want to go out, and don't want to cook. My husband's birthday is today. Guess where we're going for dinner?! 😋

I must say that my experience was absolutely outstanding. The service is very professional and the food is remarkably delicious. The taste and the freshness of it absolutely outstanding. The texture of the food and how well it's prepared is very delightful. I would definitely return and get deferent food the next time. They have a bar if you want to drink and relax. If you want to eat the food is so good it actually melts right in your mouth

We loved the food and the servers at Lobo's. It's now our go-to restaurant in the Lake Itasca area. They have a comfortable dog friendly patio, excellent beer selection, and delicious sandwiches, salads, fries, tater tots.....everything was fabulous, and the people were very friendly. Try the Turkey Overload and Brisket Sandwich. You won't be disappointed.

This place is awesome. We stopped here for supper one night when they had a band in. It was crazy busy for a place as one guy described it "in the middle of nowhere". The service was great, especially considering how busy they were. One thing I haven't mentioned in this review is the reason for the name Lobo's. If you've never heard of Lobo before, they have the story on the back of their menu. It is worth a read, especially if you're a hunter.

Exploring Itasca State Park and stopped at Lobo's for dinner. It's a very nice modern, open restaurant and bar. We had the cheese burger with sweet potato fries and California burger with fries. Burgers were very tasty and fries were just right.

Got there on a Saturday night around 5PM, stood at the front door for about 5 minutes because we werent sure if we should seat ourselves or not, there wasnt a sign saying to. Eventually a waitress speed walked passed us and said that we could seat ourselves. We sat down at a table and after about 10 minutes of being ignored, (they were busy, but not overly so,) we finally got a waitress to give us menus and waters. We were able to order fairly quickly, but this is where it went even worse. We waited for 40 minutes (we timed it because we heard rumors of slow service there,) only for the waitress to bring out the appetizer WITH my burger, JUST my burger. It was then that the waitress told us that they didnt have the ingredients to make my wife's burger.......after 40 minutes of waiting for our food. When I complained, I was very rudely told "I dont cook the food," by the waitress. We then decided that we didnt want to eat there anymore because we didnt want to wait yet another 40 minutes to get another burger for my wife. So, without touching the food, we just walked out. TERRIBLE Service and even worse wait times. The atmosphere was decent and they had a interesting back story about their name, but diner beware, this place is aweful. We didnt even touch our food, so I couldnt even tell you if it was good. I would drive the extra half hour to go to Park Rapids to eat there instead.

Drove 20 minutes to have breakfast, walked in at 10:35 waited 10 minutes for the waitress to come over and tell us that the cook will not be taking anymore breakfast orders..I thought breakfast was done at 11 not 10:45?? We got up and left and definitely will not be going back

We like this place when camping out that way. Fries, onion rings etc are always good and crispy. Burgers are good but the pulled pork on the pulled pork nacho thing was AWFUL. Full of fat and just not how ya wanna do pulled pork.
Servers have always been nice, we've been in a handful of times.
