Rack's Bar & Grill

Too much salt in my hamburger.

We have been there many times over several years and they are consistently understaffed. Tonight was yet another night we waited over an hour for our food. There was one waitress running her butt off to serve a large room of tables, and she did some bar work, too. Either call in more staff if you're surprised by a full night, or rope off the table side and only serve food on the bar side so you can properly serve a smaller amount of people rather than leaving many tables (with small children!) uncomfortable with long waits.

The food is pretty good. Everything was hot and fresh. But it wasn't worth the time.

Great place!

Good food and nice server. They had something for everyone. Rack Mac burger and fries were great. The kids enjoyed their meals. That automatically makes it a win! Would definitely come again if we're in the area.

Never heard of the place...

After seeing ads on the local tv stations, we thought we'd try this bar and grill in nearby Spring Valley. Friendly bartender, nice atmosphere, very reasonable prices - and the food was excellent! They have nightly specials, and we were there for burger night. My wife and I both had burgers & fries, I had a beer and she had a glass of wine - and it came to $24!!!! 1990s prices! Who says you have to pay $15 for a burger!??!! And I even had the bacon cheeseburger, which was a couple bucks extra. We'll be back - worth the drive!

Went in sat down and no one took my order so I left . I also tried to call but he just put the phone down

The bartender and the patrons were very friendly. Food was good. Conversation was good. Really can't ask for much better than that.. If I'm around I would stop again..🙂

I ordered the fried mushrooms and a wrap. I was told to pick it up in 20 minutes. I was there 20 minutes later. In less than five minutes I was eating. The mushrooms were not fully cooked but had been sitting long enough for the bottoms to get soggy. The crispy chicken wrap was tasteless, seriously no flavor. The first that came with it were cold when I opened the package. Waste of $22 and definitely will not go back.

Had a burger here that is to die for. Cooked your way with so much flavor! Instead of fries we did cole slaw that seems to be another house speciality. People really love their country fried steak!
Plenty of free parking Rack's has been a local favorite for years, with good reason. Booth and table seating. Friendly service, downhome at atmosphere.

Parking: Rack's does have a bar on one end but seemed to be quieter the week night we were there. Separate entrances although you can walk inside to both .

Kid-friendliness: If taking kids, I would arrive earlier.

Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to enter. Handicap parking by the door.
The parking lot is crushed rock.

Stopped in for lunch on a chance. Juicy burgers and three kinds of cheese curds. Had color pages for kids too. Didn't hit up the bar, but definitely worth it for the food.
