*****JUST ADD SEASONING *****I discovered this place on door dash. I was a little worried at first because I was for sure that the good would be cold when it arrived giving the distance. It actually arrived hot.I was really surprised at the amount of food given, my only disappointment is there is no other flavor other than smoke. If they add a little bit of salt everything will be so good. Otherwise it's just ok.

The male cashier was pleasant in attitude but made it uncomfortable for us to decide what we wanted. We were the only people in there and he just was front and center staring at us as we discussed our options. The Pulled Chicken was tender and had good flavor, the pulled pork and brisket had good flavor but were very dry. Good Fries, good Coleslaw, fair Mac and Cheese. This restaurant closes at 8pm. The cashier was mopping and putting the chairs up around us by 7:30. Doing this while we are eating is rude, and made us feel like we should leave. I was there to enjoy dinner and the company of my three adult children. 8pm is an early enough closing time, I feel like if I spent my money I should not feel rushed to leave a half hour before they close. The food just wasn't good enough to overshadow the not so subtle hints we were given to be on our way. We will be on our way, somewhere else when this occasion presents itself again.

Corn bread was delicious but everything else was cold, the beans cold and lacked flavor, the beef brisket was nothing but fat and cold, the chicken was o.k. But cold and the rib tips were disgusting and cold, food was as if it had been sitting out for days ,the building was nice and customer service was o.k. I will not visit there again but there corn bread is bomb, good

I got the 3 meat combo (ribs, pork and brisket) and it’s tough to say which meat was worse. The brisket was literally not edible, the fat wasn’t rendered at all, and it was impossible to even bite a piece off. At least 30 degrees undercooked. The ribs were flavorless, gray and unseasoned. Speaking of which, this food definitely isn’t smoked, because there wasn’t a smoke ring on a single type of meat. The pulled pork was at least edible, but had no depth of flavor, just tasted dirty.Overall, the meat was the grayest, worst tasting BBQ I’ve ever had.The Mac and cheese was basically stoufers, the beans and slaw were average. The wings and fries were competent, so if someone holds you at gunpoint and forces you to eat here, order those. But seriously, literally any other food would taste better, this place was terrible

That's the 2nd time i buy there.1st was ok but the 2nd aaawww , my brisket sandwich was almost uncooked with bad flavor. They should care more about that not matter what , its a food business!!!

Dry BBQ not a lot of flavor. Sides are low quality. Not impressed. Counter help was very nice.

The staff and the good was amazing! What more could anyone need? Plus they were not busy, unlike other places nearby. ?

Brisket and beans are amazing! We also got the rib tips and ribs and those were ok. We asked for extra bbq sauce. The hot is like tomato sauce or a hot pizza sauce, but the mango is really good. Tip, if doing take out and going to a brewery or somewhere to eat it. Ask for silverware. We had to eat the Mac and cheese and beans out of the cup.

Not great. Brisket was dry, almost jerky like. Ribs had the bottom skin on which usually gets removed before smoking - its very (?) The coleslaw tasted off, very strongly smelled of apple cider vinager. The staff were friendly and the cornbread was decent. Only real redeeming qualities. Would not recommend based on my visit. I'm sorry, just had a rough experience.

I had their pulled pork sandwich with fries today for lunch. The pork was great and the fries were even better. Very nice staff and pleasant surroundings. Will eat here again!

The food was fantastic!!! The service was excellent and very fast. We visited on the 4th of July, and they did not have dine in, as they were closing early for the Holiday. Our food was packed very nicely, and we enjoyed it at our home. The servings were quite generous, enough for a second meal. We've eaten at many top BBQ restaurants and Hickory Hog ranks right up there with the best. Can't wait for our next visit!!!

It’s worth a try because you might like it... but for me it’s just decent. Not that impressive as far as BBQ is concerned. I really wanted to like this place since it’s close to my house, but it’s just OK. I didn’t want to bring down their star rating on Google so I gave them their average rating of 4 stars, but my actual opinion is 3 stars... Again it’s worth a try if you like BBQ... because what do I know? I’m just one guy.

Bailey B took order, was friendly & efficient; well above average. The French fries & chicken tenders were crisp & hot, unusually so for takeout. Brisket sandwich was juicy & tasty.

I ordered take out and I expect the food to maybe not be so hot temperature wise but it was cold. The rib tips looked to be old and reheated and the pulled pork was dry and very bland. The coleslaw was basic.
