From today’s Doner wrap, I could’ve gone over to the CUB Foods picked up some bagged salad, better toom and frozen doner and done it better. Why did you use tortilla? Use authentic saj bread for your wrap. You have to season your dishes somewhat. I would expect white onions, a flavorful toom and sliced tomatoes, pickles. There are better options down Central Ave and beyond.
I gave this place two chances—first for dinner, then for breakfastand both times were a huge disappointment.
For dinner, I tried the lahmacun and döner. The lahmacun was dry, flavorless, and nothing like the real thing. The döner tasted like it came from a frozen bag, not a vertical rotisserie. It lacked seasoning, texture, and freshness. It was honestly insulting to call it Turkish food.
Thinking maybe dinner was just an off day, I went back for breakfast. Big mistake. There was only one person working, so service was painfully slow and unorganized. The breakfast itself was no better than the dinner. Everything tasted cheap and stale definitly not fresh. No effort, no flavor, no authenticity.
If you know what real Turkish food tastes like, you’ll be as disappointed as I was. Save yourself the time and money.

Words can’t do it justice! From the soups to the kebabs, from the appetizers to the desserts — everything was absolutely top-notch. You can taste the care, skill, and quality in every bite.
Fast service, friendly staff, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
I’ll definitely be coming back. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re seriously missing out! 👏🔥

I highly recommend Sofra Kitchen. The food was delicious. We had lahmacun, pide, doner and lamb chops. All of them were delicious. If you are in the area, give them a try, you will not regret. Tahera was very helpful and made sure we have a good experience.

I've gone here a few times. Usually, very friendly lady at the register and good food.
Last time, someone new (for me at least) was at the counter. She was just okay, but I noticed multiple desserts in the case that had mold growing on them.

This was easily the most disgusting restaurant I’ve been to in my life. I’ve never in my life walked in a restaurant in order to dish and the meat came out cold as if they just wanted to get rid of what they had. This is a disgrace place and if anybody had any common sense, they would never come here or shop here in your life. I give this place out of 10 A -1000

I never wrote a bad review until today. I went in there and ask for a cheese pie and the clerk gave it to me. Before I left, I made sure of the food was warm and it wasn’t. I politely asked the clerk to warm up my food and they told me this item is suppose to come cold. I’ve been burek (cheese pie) my whole life and it’s never suppose to come cold! They argued with me and told me if I don’t want it or like it I can leave. This place is a disgrace to be called a Turkish food. They need new chefs and owners something that has real Turkish food.

My friend Jordan and I were the grateful recipients of the most wonderful Turkish hospitality. We very much enjoyed our food and those who served us.

Beautiful restaurant, exceptional service. The food was decent could've used some sauce with that doner plate.

The iskender was delicious, filling, and a great portion size for the price. The baklava was the best baklava I've ever had. The tea was pretty tasty too. So Sofra Kitchen definitely has my stamp of approval, but don't take it from me. I went with a friend who grew up in Turkey and this is his favorite Turkish restaurant in the Twin Cities!

Went out for late brunch. The place was empty, so I was a bit skeptical but decided to try it. Turkish coffee, I was disappointed. 1/4 of the tiny cup was coffee grounds. The food we ordered two different dishes I was blown away it was delicious. My husband's dish was very flavorful and good, my dish i ordered beef with rice salad and French fries on the side. It was a huge portion. It was really good. Service was quite slow, and when I went into the bathroom, there was a pitcher next to the toilet. That really grossed me out.

Absolutely amazing experience at Sofra Kitchen!
I ordered the lahmacun and it was complexly delicious—flavorful, fresh, and truly memorable. The staff were super friendly and incredibly fast, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere is unique, creative, and very clean, with a design that beautifully reflects traditional Turkish culture. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, no matter where you’re from. If you’re looking for authentic Turkish food done right, this is the spot!

A taste of Turkey at Sofra Kitchen!
We absolutely loved our experience at Sofra kitchen! The food was incredibly delicious, and what made it even better is that all the meats are 100% halal/zabiha – which is very important to us.
The decoration and atmosphere are beautiful; it truly felt like being back home in Turkey. The warm ambiance and authentic touches made the whole dining experience special.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for great Turkish food with a welcoming vibe. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I am surprised that there's not a lot of people coming here to eat. The food is actually good for the price since the bread is not necessary.
