Ok, I'm visiting Minneapolis to see my kids and grandkids, and my two sons and I decided to come to a new dinner and drinks spot. We were quite impressed by the food! OMG! I had the goat cheese toast and it was superb. I know what you're thinking...goat cheese toast??? Yes! It has the creamiest goat cheese with candied walnuts, thyme, figs, honey, pesto, and a balsamic reduction on a toasted ciabatta. Wow! All those flavors in my mouth made me want to sing!! Hahaha We also got the lemon Caesar salad, and the BBQ Brisket Melt. So good! BBQ flavor was rich and delicious, with a juicy and tender brisket. We also ordered ALL the desserts. LOL The pistachio cheese was, hands down, the best cheesecake I have ever had. What a surprisingly delectable taste combination. The pistachio with the creamy cheesecake, think graham cracker crust and the whipped cream and ice cream was so delicious, I made a scene. Haha! The pineapple Bundt cake was soft, moist , pineapply and so damn good. The chocolate torte was good, delicious but nothing super surprising. The strawberry shortcake was the dessert I was most excited about, but it was disappointing. We did not like it. The shortcake had a really strong bitter flavor. Weird and not pleasant at all. We sent it back, it was that disappointing. But...the rest of the food and beverages were absolutely a do-over! We will be back!!!!

The service was good, the restaurant itself was clean and spacious but the food wasn't great. My boyfriend and I split the cheese curds that weren't terrible. I got the bang bang shrimp bowl which was fine but not worth the money. My boyfriend got the bbq grilled cheese and the onion crisps were not crunchy on it.

Food was great, the server was okay. Host was nice at least! The strawberry shortcake was so bad we couldn't even finish our first bite, tasted very bad like old and chemically. But we got a free dessert card. We also got drinks but I didn't get a chance to take a picture, I will say I'd go back to this restaurant 100 times just for the tasty drinks! Hello Barbie was my favorite!

First visit. Nice beer selections and a full bar as well. Nice menu that they change from summer to winter. I had the flatbread Marguerite pizza which was great. Thicker crust, plenty of toppings. My wife had the shrimp tempura rice bowl and really liked it as well. Our server was wonderful, well informed and knowledgeable. The location is a former Appleby's and you can kind of tell, but very nice remodel. We will return to sample more of the menu and beverages.

Wonderful selection of Whisky. They have a fine nose for what works with your food order. Very nice selection of food

EXCELLENT!! We had the fried chicken sandwich and the curry bowl. We shared them both and they were equally delicious! Fries are crispy and delicious, everything came out hot and timely. Service was great, will be back as this made us want to try other things on the menu! Great find!!

Have been here three times now and loved every bite!!! Great service! (They know when to leave you alone when you cop a squat with a girlfriend and look like you're going to spend the night...) Fun, clean, modern atmosphere. The dynamite shrimp bowl was terrific! Great flavors and textures! Same with the tofu bowl. The goat cheese toast was AMAZING! Going to get this every time. The salty, sweet, chewiness.... I am droooling just thinking about it. The old fashioned cocktail is the best I've had. Perrrrrrfect. ;)

Thoroughly enjoyed a smash burger here tonight, very delicious and the french fries were out of this world, with a light batter. And to top it off smash burgers were the Monday night special for $10.00. The atmosphere was very nice as well, we were here early and it wasn't very busy but I am sure it gets busy later on and looked like they had a nice outdoor area. We will for sure be back!!

Stopped in for happy hour. We highly recommend this place. The drinks were lovely and craft beer as well. Service was good and friendly. Love to go cheese toast and the burnt ends. I think this is a hidden gem.

One of my go-to places but I'm dropping a star because the last several times I've gone the kitchen has closed early because they're slow despite there being multiple patrons in the resturant still (not just the bar) so I've been having to call to make sure the kitchen is open still prior to going and even then they can't guarantee it will still be open by the time I get there which is a little frustrating. Otherwise great atmosphere, food, and drinks.

We stopped by on a late Sunday afternoon/early evening. It was busy but we were seated right away. We visit Steele and Hops several times a year since it's not far from where we live. As usual it's a good family friendly restaurant located in Saint Anthony. The restaurant is clean as are the bathrooms. The initial waiter was efficient although not super friendly but not rude either. They switched out the wait staff during the middle of the meal and the 2nd one was much more talkative and friendly. We started with the cheese curds and they were yummy. The strange blueberry ketchup never goes over well with our crowd but if your palette is open to different and interesting tastes this may be up your alley. I usually get a sandwich and fries or the Dynamite Shrimp Bowl but I was in the mood for comfort food. The Chicken Pot Pie dish totally hit the spot. It was delicious - seasoned perfectly, creamy, biscuits had a little crunch to them and I was so there for it! We also got the Fajita Bowl which was also very good - meat cooked perfectly, it was a little light on the onion and peppers, avocado was fresh, beans, rice cooked well, and the sauces on top blended it together perfectly. My hubby made a suggestion saying he thought it'd be better if they offered a soft tortilla on the side in addition to the crunchy tortilla strips on top. The Steele and Hops Cheeseburger was cooked well and the fries were crunchy good. My chicken tender connoisseur kid was quite happy with the tenders and totally approves We will be back especially since they offer free meals for kiddos on Sunday. As always, thanks Steele and Hops!
