Our first time experiencing Canaan was a lovely one and could not have been happier. Ordered online and our order was ready quicker than the time window we were given so when I arrived I was able to grab and go home. Food was incredibly fresh and portions were perfect for the prices. Got the pineapple fried rice in medium and pad cashew nut in mild. They take their heat SERIOUSLY! That being said, so delicious. We moved here from PNW and I was so used to medium spicy being mild, but that is my bad. Will be our go to spot for Thai.
I got two main dishes and an appetizer to go and everything was so delicious. I would definitely categorize it as authentic Thai food. The spring rolls were huge and extremely flavorful. Prices were reasonable and service was quick. I love that this place exists in the area.

The Peanut Curry is another option to try. The spice level is taken seriously and is quite extreme, so level 2 spice is actually medium. The service is quick, with orders ready before expected, and the staff are very friendly and pleasant. The dining area is small but clean, with comfortable chairs, and the atmosphere is clean and pleasant. The prices are reasonable and just right for the quality of food. Canaan Thai Kitchen is a pleasant addition to St. Cloud and a go-to spot for Thai food and date night choice.
