“Obviously the general theme of Irish pubs is to be dark but it was difficult to read the menus and drink specials. I know what you're going to say... "get out your phone light old timers," but it was darker than a typical pub. The food was amazing though, and the service was good when the waitress was able to get around to us. Would definitely suggest you stop in for a bite to eat and drink before going to a show at the Uptown Theater.“
“We were in town for a hockey game and this was a couple blocks from our hotel. We were seated right away and placed our drink orders as well as an order of cheese curds and a pizza. The cheese curds came out and they were amazing. We were busy talking and not paying attention to the time. Our waitress came out and apologized for the wait on the pizza and offered to comp the cheese curds and a beer. We weren't looking for anything for free. Once the pizza came out all we could say was fabulous. We had the Primo and it had so much flavor. They were playing great classical music that wasn't so loud we couldn't hold a conversation. If you're looking for a quick bite this is the place.“
“10/10 corned beef is cooked to perfection, as well as cabbage that is firm, yet done! We had a group of 5 and had all different dishes! The location to Target Center combined with the great food and service, this eatery is a must! Don’t leave without Irish coffee and cheesecake to finish! Thank you for adding to a wonderful outing for our family, we will be back!“
“This is such a beautiful building, we were so interested in all the fine woodwork and details. We couldn't believe the building wasn't a bank or hotel or something years ago. However, I was a bit let down by the food. The pretzel was good although I'm sure not made in house, and the very spicy mustard just tasted very horseradishy. My Flatbread had good flavor, but I'm sure the Flatbreads aren't made fresh either, it was floppy and chewy.“
“Kieran's Irish Pub has been a Minneapolis gotta-try for thirty years! (30 years TOMORROW, to be exact.) It lives across the street from the Target Center which makes it super convenient to pop in for a pint prior to a game or after. We were headed to the B1G Women's Basketball tournament and needed food. It was a Friday during lent so of course my parents were in search of meatless options. Holy Walleye Sandwich! That thing could easily feed two. A lot of bang per buck with that menu item. The wings were huge but nothing to write home about. (I'd not order those again.) The Rueben was delish! It had the perfect amount of corned beef and sauerkraut. Absolutely no complaints here. My pint of Guinness was delightful. (There's just something so satisfying about having one in an Irish pub.) The menu wasn't huge by any means but had something for everyone-- it seemed priced pretty reasonably considering it's downtown. My kiddo is obsessed with the Titanic. He loved exploring their Titanic Lounge! (It's only available for private events but the staff let him check it out.) Captain Edward Smiths painting is behind the bar-- loved all the old timey nautical items throughout. Overall, Keiran's Irish Pub is a super cool hangout. It's closed Mondays and Tuesdays but stop in for a pint!“
“Our server was very attentive and pleasant. We were there with 6 people and most of us had the Fish 'n Chips which were excellent. One person ordered the Caesar salad with chicken and was disappointed with the toughness of the chicken. Overall, a very pleasant atmosphere and dinner.“
