Excellent, put this on your bucket list! Many unique, but not too crazy dishes. Our waiter was superb, one of the best ever. All of our dishes, probably 9 in all, were done to perfection. Even the deserts are unique and spectacular. Priced very reasonably too.

Outstanding. Phenomenal. When my fiance described The Lucky Cricket to me, I knew we would love it somehow - but not to the extent expected. Everything is done right here, from the atmosphere to the service to the food. We came in for the Sunday all you can eat special and everything we ordered was done so well. For $18 per person, we were blown away. Order the crispy pig ears, the Korean fried chicken, and the green beans to name a few - you will not be disappointed. Also, big ups to Mandee who was one of the most chill and helpful servers I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. We will definitely be returning guests!

I've read a lot of critical reviews about Lucky Cricket, but I still wanted to try it out for myself. Initially, I came for a happy hour cocktail and sat at the bar. Service was friendly, but the restaurant was DEAD compared to a packed Crave next door, which is where I came from. I had the Lychee Royale, it was fine, but not too memorable. I wouldn't order it again. This was during their Chinese New Year Celebration, so when I walked out, they handed me a lucky red envelope, and to be honest, their marketing strategy to bring customers back in. Inside the red envelope were two chocolate coins and a coupon for a free cocktail on my next visit. This is why I came back for a second visit. I returned a few weeks later around dinner time, and again the restaurant was pretty dead. There were two parties on the bar side and maybe 3 parties in the dining area. I was pretty bummed to find out that happy hour is only offered on the bar side after we were seated on the dining side. For my free cocktail, I chose the West End Girl- a "salty caramel lemon drop with tart lemon foam." The first few sips were sweet and delicious. I never thought caramel and lemon would go well together, but it was very unique and I liked it. However, I'm not sure if the foam gelatinized because I didn't drink it fast enough, or I just didn't notice that it came out that way the first two sips, but it was pretty gross. The "foam" layer was one solid layer and moved together, unlike how foam should behave... so I was pretty grossed out. I never finished my cocktail. Onto the food: I ordered the Singapore Rice Noodles and my friend got the Crispy Black Peppered Beef with pan fried noodles. My noodles were a pretty big portion, the flavor was pretty good, but some of the ingredients are not traditionally in a Singapore Rice Noodle dish, such as Chinese Sausage. I've ordered this dish at many Chinese restaurants before and have never encountered Chinese sausage in there. Chinese sausage has a very distinct flavor, one of which I really dislike, so it kinda of ruined the dish for me. The beef had really good flavor, BUT it was SO SALTY. OMG I had two bites of it and had to chug half my water glass. My friend also thought it was super salty, but isn't one to complain. Our server cleared our plates quickly, but was also quick to bring our check. We weren't even half finished with our drinks, and it's not like it was busy, so I'm not sure what the rush was. You can get more authentic Asian cuisine with bigger portions at about half the price as they are at LC. Both experiences were very disappointing, for it being Andrew Zimmern's restaurant, I definitely had higher hopes.

So this place was well on the way to being a four or five star but they are bait and switch liars! Shopping on a Saturday and saw the happy hour sign advertising special drink prices proceeded inside and said oh yeah happy hours and was given the menu for happy hour I ordered a drink that was supposed to be 7 dollars also my spouse ordered a drink and was told 8 dollars and they charge two additional dollars for a special square ice cube. What the ???? I get my bill and was charged 11 for my drink because while we were there they decided that happy hour does not happen on Saturday. I stated my case before paying my bill and was just told that's they way it is ! Don't support this place as not very good business practices or customer service over 12 measly dollars.

Continually amazes me. Start with the some of the dumplings and progress to other items (pigs ears are awesome - bacon French fries). LOVE the kung pap shrimp. Decent prices as great service... And all you can eat on Sundays!

This place is super cute in its design and the food is amazing. I had the salt and pepper crispy squid and had to order another simply because the taste and texture was amazing. The service is great and definitely recommend!

We love coming to LC! Definitely one of the best, if not best, Asian restaurants in MN. I came here for lunch with my bf, my 2 kids, and bf's brother and a friend. We had pig ears, sisig, pork ramen, sweet n sour chicken, black fried rice, lettuce wraps and dandan noodles. Everything was excellent, tasty and authentic. The pig's ear and dandan noodles were too heavy on the salt but that's an easy fix so I'm still giving them 5 stars. Our server was very kind and personable and brought us all a complimentary lychee ice cream for dessert. We will come back for sure.

I will admit I was initially unsure about this place based on the mixed reviews, but I was very pleasantly surprised! The Korean fried chicken was absolutely mind blowing, and the pan fried dumplings were great as well. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back!!

Everything was amazing from the decor to the service as well as the food. The drinks were fresh and beautiful and the food was just weird enough but still close enough to being normal but some of the most delicious tasting food I've ever had. My recommendation stay away from the ramen ... it's great dont get me wrong but at the end of the day it is just ramen and they menu has so many other choices that are great!
