We went for lunch on st Patrick's day. Food and atmosphere were great, but they charged a cover for a band that only started to play their first song as we were leaving the building. We were there for over an hour.

Saint Patrick’s Day at Charlie’s Irish Pub in Stillwater was fantastic! Every dish and drink had a fun ‘Irish’ twist, and the meal was delicious. The highlight was the live music, creating a joyful, festive atmosphere. Highly recommend for a genuine slice of Ireland and an unforgettable experience!

My favorite things about Charlie's restaurant is, there buffet brunches are phenomenal, their special dinners where they pair the wine or whiskey to the food courses are most enjoyable but most of all they have Irish music in the pub every Friday and Saturday night. They are the most consistent with their Irish music than anyone in the twin City or surrounding area.

Excellent place to try all things Irish including a wide variety of whiskey’s, black and tan, harp are available. Try the wings or the Irish stew. Located in the Water Street Inn. Nice patio looking at the St.Croix. Go and enjoy.

The server says none of this 4% service charge goes to the servers, some of it used to, but they don't know what happens to the extra charge anymore. This place has tanked recently

Nice patio and great food.me and my husband really enjoyed there food.we will go and eat there again soon.
Had an excellent lunch with the family. Service was great and the food was enjoyed by all. Will definitely return again. Nice location that puts you in the center of town. Take a break from shopping or after a stroll by the river.
I come here often. Service has mysteriously tanked in a little over two weeks. I overheard a staff member (Ryan?) yelling at his coworker. My fries weren't seasoned, and I ordered an Angry shamrock but got a different burger. My server didn't come to visit until 10 minutes after our food was delivered. I want this place to succeed, but the only thing it has going for it is its location in proximity to the riverfront.

Charlie's burgers are very good, but like everywhere the french fries are too salty. The chairs make too much noise whenever someone moves one.

First time at Charlie's and we were disappointed. We had reservations, but waited 10 min for a hostess that never appeared. So, we asked the bartender and he looked around then said it was okay to just grab a seat. The service was disorganized. We ordered our drinks and another server brought us drinks that were for another table. The Fish & Chips was comparable to a kids fish-stick meal (4 thin battered sticks the size of a lemon wedge and fries for $22). My wife ordered a Rachel, but received a Ruben. She was waiting to get the waiter's attention for about 10 minutes, but the kitchen caught the mistake and exchanged the meal before the server returned. The Rachel was okay. When I shared my disappointment about the fish, the server apologized, but made no effort to offer a solution. I realize a lot of restaurants now add service fees, but the 4% service fee just added to the disappointment with the whole experience.
