We went here by sheer chance and this will definitely become a new staple in our breakfast dates! Melissa was wonderful and checked in with us often. The food was awesome and we all ate passed full. Nice family atmosphere and friendly staff- well done!

Had a great lunch. Fast service from a great server. Food was hot and fresh and its is mandatory to leave room for pie

Had lunch. Very! Slow. Food takes ages to be served. Server did not refresh coffee. Had to ask twice for our bill. Overpriced. But it was a quiet noise level.

We stopped in here after taking my mother in law to an eye appointment in the area. The service was slightly slow and the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday at noontime. The service was really friendly though. My daughter had pancakes that had berries and whipped cream and said they were the best pancakes she had ever had. My French toast was just adequate. Nothing special. We got pie to take away at my mother in laws request. She likes the French silk. All the pie is made fresh in store and looked wonderful. I had cherry, which was good. They all come with whipped cream, so if you don’t want that you may have to ask for it without.

We ate here the beginning of June while on a mini road trip and meeting up with some family along the way. I was hesitant after reading an accusation of racism by management and spoke to my son in law before meeting about this. He said there were always 2 sides to a story and he also jokingly said their pie was legendary and that was the ace card in this situation. Since we had planned this a couple months in advance, it turned out we had a few more joining us, 3 college friends of my son in law who were in the cities for a game, 2 of whom weren't white. I shouldn't have worried, everyone was extremely nice and courteous, even allowing me, the perpetual undecided, extra time. Enough about that, though. The food. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and the portions were more than ample. Waitress was so sweet and although busy, she made us feel like her only table. We didn't get the bill from the manager, but he did ask how things were and brought my husband a piece of pie after he got a glimpse of everyone else's and decided he needed pie as well. I was too full for pie, but my son in law said it was the best he'd had in a while. We will definitely be back, all of us are planning a fall weekend trip.

Our waitress sat us down and was very kind, food was good, but she stared into my soul. Found curly hairs in the urinal but I suppose that's par for the course, bathroom otherwise clean. Overall very enjoyable visit

I ate on the patio on one of the last days of our late summer. It juts out into the parking lot, but at least they've put a privacy screen. It was pleasant. I had liver and onions with extra-thick and smoky bacon. They didn't overcook the liver -- yay! Hot German potato salad and a fresh fruit cup and a dinner roll were nice sides. Their sour cream raisin pie is different from what usually goes by that name. I think it needs a new name, but it doesn't need a new recipe. Delicious.

Great service and extensive menu. Comfortable not too loud table. Arrived on 1:30 Friday afternoon with 91 yr old father. Liver, bacon, onions entree. Liver prepared perfect but onions and bacon over done. Potatoes and green beans poorly prepared. Large pie selection took ours home!

Great food, fantastic service. If I lived in the area this would be one of my go to restaurants. Stuffed shrimp was tasty.

The breakfast here was not what I had expected from their reputation. I have bought pies from here before and they are excellent but the breakfast was just "meh".

Stopped for breakfast/brunch on our way to downtown, Stillwater. Pleased with the service, the food, the cleanliness and nice atmosphere. Waffle with blueberries and amazing whipped cream and special breakfast: sausage, eggs, hashbrowns, and toast were great. Our only regret is we were too full for those yummy looking pies: apple, rhubarb, chocolate... We will be back with our family and for dessert!

After getting settled into a hotel I looked for a place nearby to have a good sitdown meal. It was getting late on this week night so they were not very busy. Nice large place with many options for seating away from others. Being very hungry I ordered the bacon wrapped steak with garlic mashed potatoes and corn. It also includes a roll and mushroom gravy option. Very tasty!

We went to Joseph’s mid afternoon and I wanted breakfast she wanted lunch. I had the Eggs Benedict which was good. Especially in the afternoon. She had a club and Onion Rings the onion rings were hand battered and great amazing what happens when a restaurant puts in a little effort.

I've been eating at Joseph's for over 30 years. The great food keeps bringing me back. Full bar is available. But Joseph's is all about the pie, and in fact runs a pie bake-off during the annual Stillwater Lumberjack Days festival. Many winners are featured regulars, like Rhubarb Delight, one of my favorites.

The restaurant was very busy. We were there on a Friday night around 6:30. We had a half hour wait for a table. Parking was a challenge. The parking lot is not very big. The spaces along the side of the building are posted for the restaurant next door; however, it didn't look like the signs were being obeyed. In terms of the main meal, I had a chicken sandwich. The taste was very good; however, the chicken was half the size of the bun. We saved room for the famous homemade pies and were terribly disappointed. Two of the slices were extremely small for the $4.50 a piece, and the taste didn't match the price. I had a creme brulee cheesecake. The size of the slice was decent; however, it was not really cream brulee. The top was just darker and harder as if they had tried to do the creme brulee part the day or so before. There was not much taste. Definitely not worth the calories nor the $7.50 for the slice. I'd come back for a meal but will skip the pie in the future.
