The chicken nachos were great. And the music was great. We saw Olivia Newton John and Anne Murray on Thursday and The Bee Gees on Friday they were both fun and highly entertaining. Look forward to coming back.

Overall an amazing experience! Our waiter was so polite, friendly, and down to earth. We had the DF walleye & salmon. Both entrees were super delicious! Be sure to note that you need to enter on the south side of the building during the winter.

We’ve been coming to the freight House for many years. Lately we’ve been attending the Mick Sterling live music series on Thursdays and Sundays. First, the music is amazing. Excellent production and first class musicians! Second, the room is great for live music venue. And thirdly, the service is fantastic, very attentive and friendly people! The food menu is limited, a bit pricey but pretty decent. I recommend this place whole heartedly and will be coming back to hang out on the massive deck in the summer.

We stopped down in Stillwater for the Christmas ? tree lighting. The Freight House had these beautiful fire rings going. You didn't have to buy anything. So very nice and maybe romantic. Very wonderful. Thank you, Freighthouse.

Freight House is a good restaurant option in a very cool historic building in Stillwater. The food tasted good but was maybe a little pricey for what you get (a $19 sandwich didn't include any sides - you had to pay extra for even chips). The truffle fries were really tasty, though, so we were glad we got them. Service was friendly and good, although they only had a host stand outside on the patio, so it took them a while to realize we were there because we came in a different entrance. They have a nice patio close to the river and a good selection of American classics like burgers, sandwiches and salads.

The place is nice and the service is great. The food is good and pricey, and it doesn't come with fries or chips. Almost 20$ for a ?, you can get better burgers from other places.
The Freight House is a great location to stop by for a beer/drink or some food. The food is good, they have a pretty good selection of beers on tap and in bottles/cans, the prices are fair, the wait staff and bar staff have always been super friendly and provided excellent service, and the old historic building it is located within is definitely worth checking it out. Convenient location in downtown Stillwater.

Went here for dinner on Sunday evening. They were not very busy but took the waitress 10 minutes took come take drink order. Ended up only ordering 1 drink each and an appetizer. The cheese curds were pretty good. Found out the sandwiches and burgers don't come with fries or any side, for the prices they charge. Decide to go elsewhere. Slightly disappointing.

Never been to a restaurant that is so greedy. Burgers and sandwiches are nearly $20 and don’t even come with a side. You have to order a la carte for fries or a different side. This model would make sense if the burger or sandwich was half the price. Definitely a one and done.

Love coming here on the off season and when it's crazy busy on the patio. Tonight we stopped by for a quick dinner. I ordered the Street Tacos with Shrimp. My husband had the Fish ( Walleye BTW!) and Chips which he upgraded to the truffle fires with parmesan. I enjoyed my tacos then shared a few fries. Then a few more. Then a few more...then asked for a side of my own. Believe me. You NEED these I'm your life! I thought you should know... Now to wait for their seasonal artichoke dip to return #swoon

We ordered two burgers, staff specifically asked “pink/no pink”, ordered pink and both came back well done.Chicken wild rice soup was so over salted couldn't even eat it.Ordered the Blackberry Turkey sandwich specifically for the poblano Blackberry jam and - maybe its just me, which is entirely possible - it tasted nothing like a poblano or blackberry jam.I love the Freight House for its location and atmosphere but unfortunately the food is sub par at best and (in my opinion) over priced.
