What we ordered was ok. The “ceviche” was just boiled shrimp with chopped onions, the shrimp was obviously not cooked with citric acid. Also there’s a “banh mi bowl” on the menu but the ingredients are Korean bulgogi and kimchi, nothing Vietnamese about it. You can’t just call a dish something because it sounds vaguely Asian to you. Good beer selection, cheese curds authentic.
We visited this amazing establishment while on a visit to Stillwater, and it did not disappoint! Awesome atmosphere on the huge patio with a view of the river, great burgers, and our server Maddie was super friendly and on top of everything from the minute we sat down! We will definitely be back!
Having grown up in Stillwater and known this place from the beginning, we always make sure to get back home to The Freight House. The food is exceptional; it's great for its riverfront location, the atmosphere is upbeat, and the servers are always on point.
