Sal's Angus Grill Reviews
We came to Stillwater for a nighttime get away and stumbled upon Sal’s. We were seated immediately, greeted by our waitress, Penny with a smile and great conversation! The menus had great variety and was delicious! This place is worth the trip for us and we WILL be back! Thanks Penny for your awesome service that made our visit that much better!
My husband and I visited for the first day a couple of days ago and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We only had drinks during our visit which were very good and the bartender was extremely nice and attentive.😃
My first time here was fantastic. We sat at the bar and the service was top notch, delicious large house salads, then the best prime rib I've had in quite some time. Not sure what they do with the green beans but...OMG DELICIOUS

Sal's Angus Grill offers a fun and delicious dining experience with amazing food and great service. The portions are generous, often leaving leftovers for a tasty lunch the next day. With fantastic meals like the medallions and walleye, along with popular options like Angus-Bites and Cock-Bites appetizers, Sal's Angus Grill is a reliable choice for a delicious and reasonably priced meal.
The restaurant has a great biker and family-friendly venue located in the quiet area of Withrow, making it a nice alternative to the hustle and bustle of downtown Stillwater. Customers have praised the delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and iconic green beans. However, there have been mixed reviews regarding service quality, with some experiences noting issues like slow service and mistakes with drink orders.
While many enjoy the food, there have been complaints about the presentation and quality of certain dishes, such as the portobello mushroom appetizer and the broiled walleye. One customer noted that the prime rib was good but suggested the au jus needed more seasoning. The restaurant has been advised to focus on its strengths, such as steak and ribs.
Overall, Sal's Angus Grill continues to provide a fun and enjoyable dining experience for many customers, with its generous portions, fantastic meals, and great service. On special days, like Mondays, customers who arrive on any mode of transport other than a car or truck can enjoy free spaghetti, and winter Saturdays feature BINGO TIME.
