💫 Every thing was beyond delicious! I would have eaten a whole plate of just the mushroom risotto and asparagus, but the mahi Mahi and crab cakes went way above my expectations!! Even the strawberry green salad starter was a culinary treat! What do I even say about the bananas foster? 🔥🔥🔥 Finally, Gold Star 🌟 for all the small touches that made dinner into such a beautiful experience. 💫
My husband and I were camping near by, on a kid free weekend. We found this place while walking through Taylors Falls. You do not want to miss this place - both of us would say it is one of the best places we have eaten at. We had scallops which were amazing. Then lobster and duck and they were flavorful and cooked to perfection. We topped it off with the bananas foster which was to die for! Get reservations and enjoy!!!
Kid-friendliness: The staff was very friendly with my son. Great service!
Recommended dishes: Beef Wellington, Walnut Crusted Walleye with Risotto
Our first time at Tangled Up In Blue and won't be our last. Walked in the door and immediately welcomed by Kathleen and seated. A small intimate space lends to a feeling of a private experience. Menu made it difficult to choose but the beef Wellington was amazing, my husband got the shrimp and ribs, again another thumbs up. Others at our table had the Jambalaya and halibut all 5 star. Kathleen assured we were wanting for nothing and Chef Jeff came to table to meet us. Owned and run by a lovely family and all at our table highly recommend. Call for reservations and be prepared for an experience one would expect at one of New Orleans or NYC finest restaurants. It is a hidden gem that needs to be discovered.

The food that came to our table was exceptional. 4 of us ordered something different, and all of the meals were fantastic! I don't know if the chef was a master but his meals were the best I have ever eaten. It was spendy but soooooo worth every scent!

Not only is the food fresh and delicious time and again the service is where this place really shines. Kathleen and Jocelyn make you feel right at home and so special time and again. They know you by name, and their warm smiles and above and beyond kindness never cease to blow us away. There is nowhere we would rather go. Well worth the money for a fantastic fresh meal from friends.

Always excellent food. Friendly service, although this visit, our food took a very long time to come out, and our appetizer was forgotten. Waiting over an hour is difficult without bread or an appretizer.
Wonderful boutique dinner experience.

We always make reservations at "Tangled Up in Blue" each time we attend the St. Croix Pottery Tour. It never disappoints. The owner takes time to make sure everything is beautifully done, and shecis always so warm and personable. Her serving staff is delightful and take such wonderful care of customers. The chef came out to check on us. Thar is an extra touch that means so much. My friend and I thought that his walnut crusted Walleye was the best we have ever had. The sides were perfect (including wonderful, fresh green beans cooked so wonderfully), and it arrived steamy hot and delicious. We were quite impressed.
I love the decor and fun eclectic things to look at. The interior is a feast for the eyes as well. Congrats and thank you!

Finally was able to try out the food here and WOW. Best beef Wellington I have ever had; best steak in the area by far. Can’t wait to return!5 yrs later updating to say I am still in love with this place! Regardless of what we are celebrating, Tangled Up in Blue never disappoints. We appreciate you!
