ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE. The lady who’s manager started screaming at me while taking my order (I asked to talk to a manager) Should have been my first warning to takeoff. Missing things from my order. I will NEVER go there again rather drive the grand forks for taco John.

Was very sad going into taco John's today they didn't get our order right got mad at us for it forgot to put items we asked for in our order did not listen when we ordered cuz they messed it up more than once food was good but service was not

A few years ago when I first moved to TRF, this Taco John’s was in rough shape- staff and food were severely lacking. I don’t know what happened, but I’d say the last 3 months since I’ve moved back to town, the food and staff is great; and probably beats every other fast food joint in town at this point, quality and staff combined. Arby’s used to be the best but now they’ve become the worst oddly enough. I love their breakfast burritos and their spicy chicken and potato griller, as well as the fried chicken tacos or burritos- yum! All the food always come out freshly made to order so it’s nice to know the food isn’t cold and hard anymore like it was years ago- you could tell the food had been sitting. Glad to see the big improvements at this place. Keep it up!

The staff here is great and hardworking, provide very fast service, and are professional and upbeat! The team also works really well together, and they all seem to have great working relationships and to genuinely enjoy working alongside one another :)
There are occasional deals and free loyalty rewards available for users of the TJ’s mobile app, which are helpful for getting more bang for your buck. And the food, in large part, is Delicious, full of flavor, and always cooked fresh-to-order! (Though I have received extremely stale and inedible tortilla chips on a couple occasions in the past when I’d ordered nacho food items.)
But overall, I Highly recommend this restaurant, and Love the potato olés!! And I’ll also say that I like Taco John’s food better/more than that of Taco Bell restaurants. And our local TRF location Far exceeds and surpasses the speed, service, and quality of food served at the Grand Forks location, hands down!!
(*As a few suggestions for the owner or store manager, I would recommend: a tad bit brighter lighting in the portion of the dine-in area that’s across from the counter; a fresh coat of paint in the entryway that’s by the parking lot; and maybe some pleasant pop or Latin music playing softly in the background for those dining in.)
Had my first visit to a Taco Johns at this place. I was pleased with fluffy tortillas as well as the refried beans with onions.

I was there today. Asked for 6 beef soft shell with only tomatoes. Got it wrong the lady was mad. Made my order again. I got nothing inside my tacos. Hardly any meat and tomatoes. And she dropped my food on counter.

I was at the store today around noon. My friend and I stood at the counter waiting to be helped for 10 minutes. The lady helping us was very rude. Our potatoe oles weren’t fully cooked or seasoned. My chicken burrito had chicken that was half done and cold in some places. Was no impressed by the service today or the food.
