My family had a great lunch at Black Woods in Two Harbors! Our server was knowledgeable about gluten-free options, and I had no issues. My kids loved the Alfredo pasta, and my husband enjoyed the huge walleye sandwich. We will be back next time we're in the area!

The corn bread is delicious. It's basically like a little cake and it's super yummy.
We were really excited to try this place. Sadly, we were a little bit disappointed. We got a seat right away but honestly, it took a really long time to get service. Our server was really nice however, it took a really long time to get refills and to get checked on. The food was decent. The salmon appetizer was good along with the ribs. The chicken was a little bland. Bison burger was nothing special. Food was not too expensive but for the quality, it was a little much. Maybe find another place to eat instead of this place.

Just another busy Friday in the booming metropolis of Two Harbors! All was very yummy!
Food was mediocre at best. The words ALPO come to mind for the pot roast. The seasonal chicken schnitzel was fine except the mustard sauce was pure salt. The German "red coleslaw" was actually rotkohl traditionally served hot not cold as a slaw. Big plus were red mashed potatoes. Those were yummy. Server was fun. Bottom line only go there if you have to.

We went to Black Wood Bar& Grill in Two Harbors, MN on October 6th for dinner at approximately 6:00 pm. We were seated at a high top in the bar area. After almost twenty minutes my husband walked up to the bartender and asked if we placed our order through her, she said “ No hasn’t your waiter been there?” No, not yet. Our server (Ben) then came up to the bar area and the bartender asked him to please help with our order and he replied “ I’LL GET THERE WHEN I GET THERE”. Loud enough for bar area patrons to hear. We then got up and walked out. WOW we all have bad days , but this was totally unacceptable. Won’t be going back there..
