“Jalapeno Popper pizza is truly the.best.pizza I have ever had… and I’ve been to Italy. It is the kind of pizza that you would see served at the coronation of a great emperor. But I cannot think of an emperor worthy enough to delight in this piece of perfection. It was as if angels came down and worked in the kitchen to create this delectable work of art. I used to go up to Two Harbors to enjoy the solitude in the natural beauty that is the Minnesota North Shore, but now it’ll be to eat this pizza again. Thank you, Northshore Pizza Cafe, for creating this culinary masterpiece.All poetry aside, this pizza is seriously the best pizza I’ve ever had.”

“Amazing coffee shop. Big windows from floor to ceiling that let in a ton of natural light, and views of the surrounding cedar forest (with trails that you can snowshoe and bike). A canoe hanging from the ceiling. Several people working on their laptops. Great atmosphere. I got a chai and my girlfriend got a coffee and croissant. All were perfect. Staff were super friendly. This coffee shop shares a roof with a bike shop that sells, rents and repairs bikes, so if you're passionate about bikes, this is the place for you.”

“Large brewery, with a huge selection of high quality beers (I like the cream ale), lots of space inside and out for large groups, and some nooks where your family can play board games. I was here in the off season, but you can tell they are set up to service lots of tourists in the summer. There are also some interesting other cool establishments within walking distance. Check this place out if you’re touring the north shore!”

“Place is very small. No dining area inside, but we were able to eat at a small table outside. Ordered the "Breakfast Vegie Taco." Fabulous flavor!! Yum!! Loved their Iced Chai Tea also. Would definitely return.”

“We were staying in Duluth but wanted a fine dinning experience with lake views - Oh boy did we find it. Food was amazing and Armando provided us with some top notch service. Only regret is we didn't have room for dessert. Give this tucked away spot a shot!”

“We stopped here for lunch on our way to Lutsen. We had the place to ourselves on a Monday in April. Our food was excellent! I loved the Portabella burger and my kids thought the burgers and fries were great! It's a little spendy - burgers are $18. There is free parking outside and nice view of Lake Superior! It's worth a stop here on your way up north!”

“Me and my husband went here after going down to Gooseberry Falls.Our waitress Mary was kind and quick. She made sure we were happy with our food choices.The food was great and I will be coming here again the next time we are in the area.I got the wild rice burger and cheese curds on the side.Vegetarian options: Wild rice burger, cheese curds.”

“Delightful cooking! We've experienced Emma's cooking before realizing she had a food truck, but the food is wonderful at the truck. Egg rolls loaded with cabbage and carrots, panko-crusted cheese curds, freshly-fried fries and steaming shawarma. One of the better food trucks in the region, and good for the price at that! It's worth it if you catch her truck stopped somewhere.”

“My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch there. I had the French dip she had the Denver sandwich on wild rice toast. Staff is friendly and attentive always had the coffee pot working. I'll go back there again! Thanks for a great ”

“Got a lot of food, but somewhat pricey. 2 people could easily share one entree. Orange chicken was good, and all food was pretty hot. Lo mein was greasy. Only takeout was available.”

“Just what we needed after a long, stressful day. Good, midwestern style pizza (lots of cheese, good crust, cut into squares!), draft beer for my wife and ice cold water for me. Nothing fancy for nights when you definitely do NOT want fancy. Kid-friendly but not just for kids, great staff.”

“Good food with a glorious view and attentive service. I love finding these hidden gems on roadtrips! Typical American food that is made well with great presentation. We had a late breakfast and enjoyed our meals - Eggs Benedict and pancakes with chocolate chips. Perfect portion sizes - not too much and not too little. A cup of coffee is $4, my only gripe that's not really a gripe.”

“It's a great subway to eat at, only downside there is their drive thru menu is not updated with all the new subs they have. If they would fix that then my review would have been 5 ”
