“When I saw that a simple Chocolate Malt was nine Dollars I had to think twice but since I was on vacation I gave it a try. It was a very good Chocolate Malt. 5th Street Malt Shoppe definitely has a good system going. They have a limited menu which allows the orders to be done quickly and the orders are made in short order. The line moves quickly and the quality of the product is very good.“

“Dairy Queen is always a go to on hot summer days or if you need a snack to keep you going without eating to heavy of a meal. Classic soft serve is dished out from the classic dipped cone to the banana split and everything in between. My only complaint is the price as it can be steep, but for a once or twice a summer craving it can't be beat“

“Culver’s offers the most consistent food and experience in the Two Harbors area. The burgers are solid and meet expectations, and their frozen custard desserts are varied and reasonably priced compared to the competition. However, it would be nice to see them rotate out older frozen custard pints and stock something fresh.

If you want to avoid the chaos of other local spots while passing through town, Culver's is a reliable choice. That said, the service could use some improvement. On multiple occasions, I’ve encountered messy ketchup or custard spills in the front, which often feels disorganized. The staff at the register should guide people to designated waiting areas rather than allowing them to linger in the exit lane, which frequently causes congestion. Customers will only follow directions if the staff provides them clearly.

Additionally, the men's bathroom often has an unpleasant odor, which sometimes drifts into the lobby area—a detail that could definitely be addressed.“
